Job Overview:
The Litigation Paralegal partners closely with attorneys to manage personal injury cases from start to finish. This role is responsible for handling a high-volume caseload, maintaining client and stakeholder communication, drafting legal documents, and coordinating filings in state and federal courts.
Day-to-day work includes organizing case files, reviewing and summarizing medical and billing records, managing deadlines and calendars, and supporting all phases of trial preparation. This is a hands-on role that plays a key part in keeping cases organized, compliant, and moving forward efficiently.
Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of personal injury litigation experience, are highly organized, and thrive in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain client communication across phone, email, text, and meetings Manage a high-volume personal injury caseload through litigation Communicate with opposing counsel, courts, insurers, and lien holders Draft legal documents, including discovery, motions, and notices Handle electronic filings in state and federal courts Review medical and billing records; prepare summaries Assist with trial preparation (jury instructions, exhibits, depositions) Organize client files and case documentation Manage calendars for hearings, depositions, and deadlines
