This role will partner with Operations, Project Controls, Finance, Workforce Planning, Preconstruction, Supply Chain, Safety, and Executive Leadership to develop dashboards, automate reporting, identify trends, and provide data-driven recommendations. The ideal candidate understands construction operations, can work across multiple data sources, and possesses the technical capability to build enterprise-level reporting solutions while translating complex data into meaningful business insights. This position plays a critical role in improving productivity, labor forecasting, project performance, profitability, and executive decision-making.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><br><strong>Business Intelligence & Reporting</strong><br>• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards across all business units<br>• Build executive-level KPI scorecards for leadership teams<br>• Create automated reporting solutions to eliminate manual reporting<br>• Develop real-time operational dashboards<br>• Design standardized reporting templates across departments<br>• Ensure reporting consistency and data integrity throughout the organization<br><br><strong>Construction Operations Analytics</strong><br>• Labor productivity, earned vs. burned hours, and cost-to-complete projections<br>• Workforce forecasting, crew performance, overtime analysis, and manpower trends<br>• Schedule adherence, cost performance, budget variances, and change order tracking<br>• Cash flow forecasting, buyout/procurement status, and productivity trends<br>• Hiring forecasts, regional staffing needs, apprentice progression, and retention metrics<br>• Incident trends, EMR tracking, safety observations, and QA/QC deficiencies<br><br><strong>Data Management</strong><br>• Consolidate data from multiple systems and build/maintain data models<br>• Ensure accuracy of enterprise reporting and develop data governance standards<br>• Identify reporting gaps and implement solutions<br>• Validate data integrity and consistency; create process documentation<br><br><strong>Executive Analytics</strong><br>• Revenue trends, gross profit performance, and labor efficiency insights<br>• Market and regional performance, workforce planning, and operational bottlenecks<br>• Strategic growth opportunity identification<br>• Prepare monthly and quarterly executive presentations<br><br><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong><br>• 3–7+ years of data analytics experience<br>• Construction industry experience preferred<br>• Experience supporting operations teams<br>• Experience building executive dashboards<br>• Experience working with large datasets<br><br><strong>Advanced Skills: </strong>Power BI, Microsoft Excel, Power Query, DAX, SQL, Data Visualization, Data Modeling<br><br><strong>Preferred Skills: </strong>Vista by Trimble, ProjectSight, Primavera P6, Power Automate, Python, Tableau, Azure Data Services<br><br><strong>Systems Integration: </strong>ProjectSight, Vista by Trimble, Kojo, Primavera P6, OpenSpace, Evolve, HRIS & Safety platforms, CRM & Accounting systems<br> </p><p><b>Benefits</b></p><ul><li>Competitive salary based on experience.</li><li>Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).</li><li>Career advancement and leadership development opportunities.</li><li>Supportive and collaborative work environment in a growing organization.</li></ul><p><br><b>At Hays Electrical Services, we’re building more than electrical systems—we’re building a company grounded in integrity, quality, and service.</b><br><b>If you're passionate about payroll, compliance, and team success, we encourage you to apply and join our Houston team today.</b></p>",
