    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>NaphCare is hiring a <strong>Physical Therapist </strong>to join our team of medical professionals in the  <strong>AZ DOC - ASPC Eyman located at 4374 East Butte Avenue, Florence, Arizona.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Pay rates range from <strong>$53.00</strong> - <strong>$58.00</strong> per hour based on shift, site needs, hire status, and experience.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As a <strong>Correctional Physical Therapist</strong>, you will work alongside correctional officers and other medical professionals to provide care to the incarcerated individuals in residence. Working within a controlled environment, where security is top priority and the days are never dull, you will have a variety of duties to keep you engaged. This is a unique position where you can make a difference to this diverse population of patients with complex medical and dental needs.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>As a <strong>Physical Therapist</strong> for NaphCare, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments or injuries using various techniques, including exercise, manual therapy, and modalities, to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function. Responsibilities may include but not be limited to:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conducting physical examinations to assess patients' range of motion, strength, balance, and coordination</li>\n <li>Reviewing medical histories and imaging results</li>\n <li>Identifying and diagnosing underlying physical conditions </li>\n <li>Developing individualized treatment plans based on patients' specific needs </li>\n <li>Educating patients on proper exercise techniques and self-care strategies </li>\n <li>Tracking patients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed</li>\n <li>Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed</li>\n <li>Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists</li>\n <li>Provide documentation and maintain patient records </li>\n <li>Adhering to ethical and legal standards</li>\n <li>Keeping updated on the latest research and advancements in physical therapy</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Qualifications for Physical Therapist:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Have a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Degree in Arizona</li>\n <li>Must hold and maintain a current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state where you are practicing</li>\n <li>Must possess an active BLS/CPR Certification (AHA preferred)</li>\n <li>Have strong analytical, problem-solving, and logical thinking skills </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, compassion, and attentiveness are necessary for interacting with staff, patients, and other healthcare professionals</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to interact effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds, including those with mental health or substance abuse issues</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information and integrity, professionalism and ability to adhere to a Code of Conduct and comply with all facility(s) correctional healthcare policies, procedures, and legal requirements</li>\n <li><strong>Must pass the facility’s criminal background check and drug screening</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Physical Capabilities:</strong></p>\n<p>Must have the ability to stand for long periods, lift and move patients (up to 50 pounds), bend, squat, reach, push, pull, walk significant distances, and perform physically demanding tasks like CPR, all while maintaining good balance and endurance throughout a shift.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Why Join NaphCare?</strong></p>\n<p>NaphCare is one of the largest providers of healthcare services to correctional facilities throughout the US, and we are growing.
