    "requisitionDescription": "<p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p>Camp Counselors are responsible for supervising, mentoring, and engaging a designated group of campers throughout the camp day. Counselors ensure camper safety, foster positive peer relationships, and help create a structured, supportive, and energetic camp environment.</p><p>Selected staff may serve as Activity Specialists, leading designated specialty programming within their area of expertise.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Primary Responsibilities</strong></p><p>Camper Supervision &amp; Engagement</p><p>Supervise and actively engage a consistent group of campers throughout the day.</p><p>Ensure campers are safe, included, and participating appropriately in all activities.</p><p>Facilitate smooth transitions between scheduled activities.</p><p>Promote a positive, respectful, and bullying-free environment.</p><p>Activity Leadership (Specialist Role)</p><p>Plan and lead specialty sessions in Art, STEM, Music, Dance, or Ultimate Games (if assigned).</p><p>Provide structured, engaging, and age-appropriate programming.</p><p>Collaborate with the Assistant Director to align specialty activities with overall camp goals.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Team Collaboration</strong></p><p>Work cooperatively with fellow counselors and leadership staff.</p><p>Participate in staff meetings, planning sessions, and professional development as required.</p><p>Maintain open communication with supervisors regarding camper needs or concerns.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Expectations</strong></p><p>Demonstrated interest in working with children in a camp, school, or youth setting.</p><p>Ability to maintain enthusiasm, patience, and professionalism throughout the camp day.</p><p>Strong teamwork and communication skills.</p><p>For Activity Specialists: experience or demonstrated ability in Art, STEM, Music, Dance, or Athletics preferred.</p><p>Commitment to full-season participation to qualify for completion bonus.</p><p><br></p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Compensation:&nbsp;</strong>$800 per week</p><p><strong>Full-Summer Completion Bonus:</strong>&nbsp;$250 (awarded upon successful completion of the full camp season)</p>\n",
