You'll oversee the complete lifecycle of water and wastewater systems—from initial design strategy through deployment and continuous improvement—while supporting our mission to produce high-quality food safely and efficiently.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Must be willing to relocate and travel</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Water Stewardship & Industrial Water System Management</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead comprehensive water resource management, covering potable water intake through wastewater discharge.</li>\n <li>Develop and maintain operating practices for water and wastewater systems across all sites.</li>\n <li>Oversee water quality specifications and implement preferred water technologies for manufacturing processes.</li>\n <li>Manage water conditioning, utility systems, and company wastewater treatment infrastructure.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal water regulations.</li>\n <li>Collaborate on permitting requirements, conduct audits, and oversee sampling programs.</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate data tracking and regulatory documentation.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Project Leadership & Technical Consultation</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate water and glycol technologies.</li>\n <li>Lead new process deployments and scale-up projects.</li>\n <li>Support construction and remodel projects to ensure water system compliance.</li>\n <li>Develop specifications, evaluate vendors, and make informed purchasing decisions.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Analysis & Innovation</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform technical assessments, design calculations, and data analysis.</li>\n <li>Design and implement water reuse projects from concept to commercialization.</li>\n <li>Create process flow diagrams, P&ID, mass balances, and technical documentation.</li>\n <li>Conduct bench testing and pilot development programs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Additional</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.</li>\n <li>Must have regular and punctual attendance.</li>\n <li>Perform all other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Skills and Abilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>2+ years of engineering, supervisory, or leadership experience (food processing preferred).</li>\n <li>Hands-on experience with water treatment processes and/or system design, including: coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, membrane filtration, biological treatment, and disinfection systems.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of industrial wastewater pretreatment and primary treatment methods.</li>\n <li>Experience with developing and documenting operating practices for water treatment systems.</li>\n <li>Microsoft Office Suite, and understanding of HMI/SCADA systems, proficiency in 2D & 3D Cad Software is a plus.</li>\n <li>Ability to read electrical schematics is a plus.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Demonstrated Competencies</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong people-centric leadership approach with ability to develop and mentor team members.</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of environmental regulations in industrial settings.</li>\n <li>Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.</li>\n <li>Outstanding communication skills across all organizational levels.</li>\n <li>Proven ability to present technical information clearly and concisely.</li>\n <li>Commitment to continuous learning and team development.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>This role is based in a manufacturing environment and requires flexibility to work various hours, including weekends when needed. Position will travel to multiple empirical facilities as needed. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:</strong> Seeking a candidate with 2+ years of progressive experience in water systems engineering, operations, or leadership roles, ideally within food processing or similar industrial manufacturing environment.</p>\n<p><strong>Education: </strong>Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred.
