We’re proud to combine the resources of a large company with the values and care of a family-run business.</strong></p>\n<h2>Essential Job Summary:</h2>\n<p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.<strong>  </strong>Other duties may be assigned.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Operate Top Pick (also known as Container Lifter or Reacher-Stacker) with various other small machinery</li>\n <li>Maneuver large containers around transfer station and load to rail cars</li>\n <li>Follow all required safety policies and procedures</li>\n <li>Effective communication with drivers, employees, and management via hand held radios and CBs</li>\n <li>Routinely set up and inspect equipment prior to operation</li>\n <li>Have knowledge of machine capabilities and limitations</li>\n <li>Observe hand signals, grade stakes, or other markings when operating machines to perform work duties in compliance of safety specifications</li>\n <li>Receive written and oral instruction regarding material movement</li>\n <li>Move materials around transfer station</li>\n <li>Maintain an efficient flow to reduce traffic congestion</li>\n <li>Follow OSHA safety standards and wear required PPE</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements and Qualifications:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States. </li>\n <li>Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds </li>\n <li>Minimum 2 years’ experience as operating a Top Pick/Container Lifter/Reacher-Stacker. </li>\n <li>Experience from the sanitation industry is strongly preferred.</li>\n <li>Able to work in an outdoor environment on a constant basis while being exposed to variable weather conditions, temperatures, chemicals, dust, fumes, smells, and loud noises.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Additional Information</h2>\n<p>This job description is intended to be an accurate representation of the general functions of the job, rather than exhaustive list of duties, responsibilities, or experience.
