We provide solutions to quality, cost and production challenges for market-leading customers in industries such as automotive, heavy duty, medical, electronics, cutlery and defense.</p><p>Precision Resource offers:</p><ul><li>Benefits package including health, dental, life and vision insurance</li><li>401(k) with match and profit sharing</li><li>Annual bonus based on division profitability</li><li>Vacation and flexible paid holidays</li><li>Wellness and Employee Assistance Programs</li><li>Tuition reimbursement and paid training</li><li>Work with an established team of long-term employees</li></ul><p>Our <strong>Connecticut&#160;</strong>division, located in Shelton,&#160;seeks a <strong>CMM Programmer/Quality Engineer.</strong></p><p><strong>Summary</strong></p><p>This CMM Programmer/Quality Engineer ensures the correct use of advanced quality planning and engineering to enhance quality, reliability and acceptance of system, processes and products.&#160; Provide a professional level of quality customer service to both internal and external customers/suppliers.</p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities&#160;</strong></p><ul><li>Monitor the performance of the product quality and reliability systems</li><li>Generate and maintain accurate documentation relating to quality, reliability and process</li><li>Create CMM programs to support part quality verification</li><li>Measure tool components and document for future reference</li><li>Implement detection systems to eliminate problems that affect quality and reliability</li><li>Prepare and present reports (PPM, Cost of Quality, NCR, Process Routing, etc)</li><li>Develop and implement quality programs, including tracking, analyzing, reporting and problem solving</li><li>Accurately files all Quality paperwork (customer complaints, control plans, quality alerts, weekly logs, etc)</li><li>Manage and control gauge calibration system</li><li>Accurately complete and submit on time customer PPAP&#8217;s</li><li>Develop Control Plans &amp; In Process Inspection Records</li><li>Responsible for issuing NCR&#8217;s, creating a process for containment, writing clear instructions and reports</li><li>Responsible for performing 8-D corrective actions and writing reports for submission to customer</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications, Education, Experience</strong>&#160;</p><ul><li>Graduation from high school or receipt of equivalent (GED)</li><li>&#160;Minimum 5 years experience working in a Quality Department in a manufacturing environment or CQE diploma or equivalent</li><li><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"line-height:normal;\"><span><span style=\"font-family:Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:10pt;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, sans-serif;\">Must have PC-DMIS CMM programming experience</span></span></span></span></span></span></li><li>Knowledge and experience with formal documentation systems and methods particularly ISO9001 and IATF16949</li></ul><p></p><p>Precision Resource is an equal opportunity employer, M/F/D/V.</p><p>To learn more, visit <a href=\"http://www.precisionresource.com/careers/\">www.precisionresource.com/careers/</a></p><p style=\"margin-bottom:11px;\"></p><p style=\"margin-bottom:11px;\"></p>",
