Our <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Warehouse Associates</span> are hard-working individuals and a vital contributor to AJC Logistics' success in meeting operating standards and customer satisfaction. The <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Warehouse Associate</span> will be responsible for shipping and receiving ocean freight containers and trailers at our Jacksonville, Florida facility on the Northside. The ideal candidate is responsible, and committed to quality service, and can operate a stand-up forklift experience. You will be on your feet all day standing or walking on the concrete floor in our 55,000 square foot warehouse.  You must be okay working in multiple temperatures.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Load and unload ocean containers.</li>\n<li>Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)</li>\n<li>Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)</li>\n<li>Perform inventory controls and keep high-quality standards for audits</li>\n<li>Maintain a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization</li>\n<li>Report any inventory or product discrepancies</li>\n<li>Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers</li>\n<li>Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment-</li>\n<li>Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations</li>\n<li>Other duties may be assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Tools for Success:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent communication skills</li>\n<li>Shipping and Receiving experience</li>\n<li>Detailed-oriented</li>\n<li>Must be reliable and flexible with schedule</li>\n<li>Ability and desire to perform well in a fast-paced, fluid environment where tasks change quickly</li>\n<li>Problem-solving skills</li>\n<li>Eager to learn</li>\n<li>Willing and able to work with all personality types with a professional and helpful manner</li>\n<li>Excellent attendance<br> </li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School, GED, or equivalent experience</li>\n<li><span>Stand-up forklift experience required (Crown or Raymond)</span></li>\n<li>Six (6) months of container warehouse experience<br></li>\n<li>Receiving by case count is preferred <br></li>\n<li>Ability to understand RF devices to scan a variety of products.</li>\n<li>Previous experience loading ocean containers for destination to Puerto Rico preferred</li>\n<li>Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems</li>\n<li>Ability to lift heavy objects<br> </li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Shift Time</span><br>Day Shift Monday-Friday – 7:00 am to 3:30 pm plus OT as needed.<br></p>\n<p>2nd Shift Monday-Thursday - 3:30 pm to 1:30 am plus OT as needed.</p>",
