Grow Here.</strong>&quot;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>POSITION SUMMARY</strong>&nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p>We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Operator to join our Grain Operations team.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Responsible for weighing trucks as they arrive at location.</li><li>Obtains grain samples using necessary equipment and grades grain accordingly.</li><li>Communicates the grain and grade to the grain attendants on each load. Communicates and works closely with the Location Manager to ensure day-to-day grain activities run efficiently.</li><li>Maintains the housekeeping of the facility including: elevator, buildings, grounds, etc.</li><li>Communicates daily with grain supervisor or attendants to understand all grain strategies and to get daily instruction that will help complete the daily tasks.</li><li>Partners with Grain Accounting for accurate and efficient accounting of grain. Contacts customers regularly informing them of dumping hours, potential dumping delays, and market opportunities.</li><li>&nbsp;Assists customers with marketing possibilities, ultimately working towards purchasing that producer&#39;s grain.</li><li>Stays informed of current company programs and other information necessary to handle grain accurately and efficiently.</li><li>Provides daily current market prices to customers and other pertinent market information.</li><li>Keeps grain room, scale area, scale, and grading equipment clean and in optimum working condition.&nbsp;</li><li>Depending on location, this position may also be responsible to make grain contacts and grain settlements.</li><li>Understanding and adhering to all safety policies and procedures and maintaining a safe and clean work environment, including compliance with US DOT drug and alcohol testing requirements, the Agtegra Drug Free Workplace Policy, OSHA regulations, and the Agtegra Vehicle Policy and Fleet Safety Program.&nbsp;</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be 18 years or older.&nbsp;</li><li>English Proficiency.</li><li>Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including a respirator.</li><li>Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work in confined spaces.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts.</li></ul><p><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Experience in agriculture&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS&nbsp;</strong></p><p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
