    "description": "<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Peraton is seeking Business Analyst to support Acquisition Management Branch (AMB) for Portfolio Resource Management Division (PRMD)</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Business Analyst Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Process hardware/software packages coming from Lifecycle Management for PRMD</li>\n <li>Review/validate requirements, RVDC, follow up with customers as necessary.</li>\n <li>Generate reports, monitor status, update ITSM tickets, monitor calendar events, and provide critical updates to Government leadership when appropriate.</li>\n <li>Update action statuses via the Procurement Action Tracker, ServiceNow and other databases/tools as necessary.</li>\n <li>Coordinate with program and project managers from various Directorates within the Defense Health  Agency on hardware/software packages as necessary to ensure requirements are valid and following up on maintenance, cost as necessary.</li>\n <li>Review Electronic Bill of Materials (EBOM) and compares them to quotes received by vendors. Provides recommendations to the government on if the EBOM and the quote are technically acceptable.</li>\n <li>Conduct market research as necessary to determine cost estimates and/or as requested by the Government</li>\n <li>Support AMB PRDM taskers,, IGCEs, and other administrative tasks as assigned for AMB PRMD</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Skills:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong communication skills, professional writing skills, and intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (i.e., ability to prepare Microsoft (MS) Excel Pivot Tables, ability to identify duplicates in an Excel  spreadsheet, ability to use MS Excel Power Query for extract, transform, and load functions, ability to use MS Word, etc.)</li>\n <li>Ability to multitask and perform administrative tasks in support of AMB PRMD</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>5+ years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD. 9 years of experience with HS diploma</li>\n <li>Ability to obtain and maintain public trust</li>\n <li>Must be a US Citizen</li>\n <li>Attention to detail is critical to ensure proper review and processing of contract packages following processes, established standards and templates.</li>\n <li>Strong communication, professional writing and ability to work independently</li>\n <li>Previous experience with contract acquisition, hardware/software inventory, licensing, contract, maintenance,  IT tracking and/ or business analysis preferred,  IT experience a plus</li>\n <li>Must have Excel experience, attention to detail and quick learner to provide quality hardware/software packages</li>\n <li>Position in on-site in San Antonio, Texas</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Peraton Overview</h2>\n<p>Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
