As a company driven on customer service and a high-quality product, we strive to offer leading edge technology and our team of technicians are driven to provide the highest quality possible.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Echo NDE is currently seeking an API 653 Inspector to join and contribute to our team. This is a full-time permanent position reporting to the Operations Manager and will be based out of Calgary, AB, with travel to and from multiple worksites throughout Canada.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform visual inspections and non-destructive examinations of aboveground storage tanks and pressure-retaining equipment in accordance with API 653 and applicable industry standards</li>\n <li>Assess equipment condition and integrity to ensure compliance with regulatory, client, and company requirements</li>\n <li>Prepare detailed inspection reports documenting findings, deficiencies, and recommendations</li>\n <li>Provide technical recommendations regarding repair, alteration, re-rating, replacement, and fitness-for-service evaluations</li>\n <li>Assist clients in the application and interpretation of inspection techniques, codes, standards, and procedures</li>\n <li>Coordinate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and NDT personnel to support inspection programs and asset integrity initiatives</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and site-specific requirements while actively participating in safety programs and hazard assessments</li>\n <li>Support tank inspection planning, turnaround activities, and integrity management programs</li>\n <li>Maintain applicable certifications and stay current with industry codes, standards, and best practices</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>API 653 certification required</li>\n <li>Preference will be given to candidates with NDT certifications </li>\n <li>Strong technical report writing and documentation skills</li>\n <li>Knowledge of NDE methods, welding practices, and applicable industry codes and standards</li>\n <li>Ability to evaluate equipment condition and provide repair and fitness-for-service recommendations</li>\n <li>Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills</li>\n <li>Ability to build and maintain positive client and stakeholder relationships</li>\n <li>Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions</li>\n <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Valid driver's license and willingness to across Western Canada</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Why work with Echo NDE?</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We understand that a team is shaped by its leaders and their ability to bring the best out in everyone.
