Our flagship product, the dcbel Home Energy Station, is a small wall mounted device that gives everyone ownership over their energy supply by using solar power to charge their EV and home, unlocking their EV’s battery for backup power (V2H), and optimizing the energy flow between their solar panels, EVs, backup battery and the grid.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The opportunity</span></p>\n<p><span>dcbel is looking to hire a Manufacturing Specialist that will be responsible for industrialization, optimization, and continuous improvement of products and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate is a hands-on individual contributor with at least 5 years of manufacturing experience, who thrives in a dynamic environment and is willing to get directly involved to drive results.<br></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Main responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) ramp-up and training at contract manufacturer sites. Maintain issue logs and track issues to resolution.</li>\n<li>Populate ERP, MRP, and PLM systems with accurate production data.</li>\n<li>Own part quality, process optimization, and supplier industrialization throughout the product lifecycle.</li>\n<li>Monitor production throughput and quality metrics; recommend and implement corrective actions as needed.</li>\n<li>Develop, map, and optimize manufacturing process flows, takt times.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with suppliers to ensure alignment with dcbel’s quality and manufacturing standards.</li>\n<li>Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures.</li>\n<li>Ensure robust error-proofing (poka-yoke) is built into manufacturing processes.</li>\n<li>Lead and close NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and SCARs (Supplier Corrective Action Requests) efficiently, preventing recurring issues.</li>\n<li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives targeting cost reduction, waste elimination, lead-time improvements, and quality enhancement.</li>\n<li>Actively participate in design reviews with dcbel Design Engineering to ensure manufacturability and develop effective DFM (Design for Manufacturability) strategies in collaboration with suppliers.<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key requirements</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial engineering, or equivalent experience with proven ability.</li>\n<li>5+ years of working experience in a manufacturing environment (working with electromechanical products; quality management experience is an asset).</li>\n<li>Familiarity with SPC (Statistical Process Control) and data analysis.</li>\n<li>Available and authorized to travel 30–40% within North America (Canada, U.S., Mexico) for short and medium period (3 months)<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Bonus skills</span><br></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Bilingual English, French and Spanish</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Profile</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong project management skills with the ability to structure and execute initiatives.</li>\n<li>Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment; excellent collaboration and teamwork skills.</li>\n<li>Strong technical writing skills; ability to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely.<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What's in it for you</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Be part of a company that is backed by numerous globally respected investors and has world-changing patents in an industry changing for the first time in history.</span></li>\n<li><span>Grow your professional experience amongst blue chip partners and a close-knit team of committed and experienced energy experts who deeply care about the work they do.</span></li>\n<li><span>Full benefits package including Health insurance, Health virtual care, employee stock options plan (ESOP) and flexible hours.
