Description

Overview Overview The Stronghold Companies is seeking an IT Access Control Technician to support user provisioning, account administration, and access management across our enterprise systems. This role ensures employees have the correct access to applications, network resources, and Microsoft services while maintaining accuracy, security, and compliance. This is a hybrid role based in the La Porte/Pasadena, TX area. Responsibilities Essential Functions Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts in Active Directory Manage security groups, distribution lists, and shared mailboxes in AD and Exchange Admin Center Maintain network folder permissions and respond to access requests Provision access for business applications and IT systems based on approved processes Support onboarding and offboarding with correct access setup and removal Handle basic troubleshooting for access and login issues Assist with documentation and support for audit and compliance reviews Work closely with IT, HR, and department managers to ensure timely access setup Competencies 1. Attention to Detail2. Communication (verbal and written)3. Organizational4. Multi-tasking5. Teamwork6. Thoroughness Supervisory Responsibility This position will have no supervisory responsibilities. Other Duties Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice that are job-related and consistent with business necessity. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of the job, an IT Access Control Technician is occasionally required to bend, stoop, walk, climb, squat, reach, kneel, push/pull, stand, sit and lift up to 20 pounds. Position Type/ Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Travel Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
