    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Role: </span>Part-Time IELTS &amp; Standardized Test Proctor (Computer-Based Tests)</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Location: </span>ELS San Francisco, 433 California Street</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>ELS San Francisco is hiring part-time, hourly-paid invigilators/proctors to support the administration of the IELTS exam and other standardized computer-based tests. The IELTS (International English Language Testing System) evaluates the English proficiency of individuals planning to study or work in English-speaking environments.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Ideal Candidates Will Demonstrate:</span><br></p>\n<ul></ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Proficient and professional communication skills in English</li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions</li>\n<li>Teamwork and the ability to take direction from supervisors</li>\n<li>A friendly, customer-service-oriented demeanor</li>\n<li>Punctuality, efficiency, and professionalism</li>\n<li>Flexibility and adaptability<br></li>\n<li>Commitment to maintaining test security and confidentiality</li>\n<li>Intermediate technology skills (e.g., navigating computer systems, using testing software, basic troubleshooting)</li>\n<li>Comfort with IT-related tasks, as many tests are delivered on computer<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Duties Include:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Set Up: Preparing exam rooms and equipment before testing begins</li>\n<li>Set Back: Restoring rooms and returning materials post-exam</li>\n<li>Administration: Handling test materials and administrative paperwork</li>\n<li>Candidate Check-In: Verifying identification and checking in candidates</li>\n<li>Proctoring: Monitoring exams and ensuring compliance with test regulations</li>\n<li>Security: Maintaining integrity of test materials</li>\n<li>IT Support: Assisting with computer setup, login issues, and minor technical support</li>\n<li>Transportation (if needed): Moving test equipment to off-site venues<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Requirements:<br></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Availability for 5 to 7.5-hour shifts starting at 7:30 AM on Saturdays and Sunday</li>\n<li>Weekday availability is highly preferred<br>Willingness to support basic IT setup and troubleshooting</li>\n<li>Authorization to work in the United States</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Application Process:<br></span></p>\n<p>Qualified applicants should submit:<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A resume/CV<br></li>\n<li>Two reference letters<br></li>\n<li>Previous test administration or invigilation experience is a plus, but not required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About ILSC, ELS, Greystone College &amp; Greystone Institute </span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>A world leader in language education &amp; vocational training, ILSC Education Group, which opened its first language school in Vancouver, Canada in 1991 and Greystone College in 2002, offers life-changing educational experiences in Canada, Australia, Ireland and India, some of the world’s most attractive and popular English-speaking work and study destinations.
