The Opportunity
Take charge of a dynamic sales team within a designated area of our division. You'll execute on innovative sales strategies, achieve weekly sales commitments, and drive process improvements to deliver exceptional results and ensure top-tier customer satisfaction. Lead the way in recruiting, training, retaining, and developing a high-performing sales team, making a significant impact on our success.
Key Responsibilities
Drive Sales Success: Regularly engage with sales consultants to monitor progress and provide support, ensuring they meet established targets.
Optimize Sales Processes: Ensure all sales consultants utilize the company's CXP selling process and digital tools like our customer management system for tracking activities and performance.
Navigate Negotiations: Provide expert guidance and solutions for challenging sales negotiations, helping sales consultants close deals effectively.
Innovate Traffic Strategies: Collaborate with sales consultants to develop creative strategies that attract potential customers and increase foot traffic.
Leverage Market Insights: Work with sales consultants to gather and analyze competitor and market data, using this information to enhance sales strategies.
Strengthen Outreach: Enhance the Realtor Broker Outreach program by building strong relationships with local realtors and brokers, increasing referrals and community engagement.
Foster Collaboration: Coordinate and collaborate with all departments to ensure alignment and support in achieving overall business objectives.
Build a Talented Team: Lead or assist in recruiting, training, and retaining sales consultants, implementing effective retention strategies to maintain a motivated team.
Enhance Performance: Provide constructive feedback and coaching based on performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and creating development plans.
Ensure Customer Satisfaction: Maintain high standards of customer service through the KB Edge business model, promptly addressing and resolving customer service issues.
What You Bring
High School Diploma or Equivalent (required); Four Year College Degree (preferred).
Valid Real Estate Salesperson License (required); Broker License (preferred).
3+ years proven sales management experience.
Experience in home building or a related industry is preferred.
Action-oriented with a strong drive to achieve defined sales and marketing goals.
Demonstrated ability to motivate teams, develop employees, manage conflicts, and troubleshoot underperforming areas.
Proven ability to seek solutions from the customer’s perspective and deliver high-quality customer service.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts accurately and persuasively.
Proven ability to lead effective training sessions and conduct compelling oral presentations.
Strong ability to work collaboratively within a team and build professional relationships, valuing others' ideas and cooperating willingly.
Ability to make quick and accurate decisions informed by facts, data, and metrics, while leveraging a deep understanding of market and industry trends.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience with customer relationship management software.
Requirements
Ability to work a flexible schedule on a consistent basis, including evenings, weekend and holidays
Ability to work in a sales office if needed from time to time.
Conduct business in a professional and ethical manner to potential buyers and external brokers to reinforce goodwill and profitability for the company
The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
Ability to move about work location.
Ability to drive/travel locally 90% of time.
Ability to walk up and down stairs.
Ability to observe details at close range and communicate information so others will understand.
Ability to transport and move up to 20 lbs and move as needed (for roles in Construction/Customer Service/IT/Land/Marketing/Sales/Studio).
Periodically works in outdoor weather conditions (for roles in Construction/Customer Service/Land/Sales).
The position is located at the division office and requires frequent travel between new home construction sales communities #LI-onsite
Compensation Details and Benefits KB Home offers a competitive base pay. This position is eligible to participate in a performance-based bonus program.
