    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong><u>Position Summary:</u></strong></p><p>The rigging foreman position is responsible for all rigging activities that take place&nbsp;</p><p>on assigned job site.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><p>&bull; Responsible for all job site management activities of the rigging crew.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Develops, plans and implements crew and alignment with customer and&nbsp;</p><p>salesmen with direction of job.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Directs workforce to meet operational goals in terms of volume, cost, quality,&nbsp;</p><p>safety and schedule.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Directly supervises and works with one or more machinery moving crews.</p><p>&bull; Hands on supervisory role with the ability to effectively move machinery&nbsp;</p><p>utilizing forklifts, skates and jacks (not cranes).</p><p>&bull; Develop, train and instruct machinery moving crews in best known rigging&nbsp;</p><p>operation practices and procedures including safety.</p><p>&bull; Work closely with safety personnel in coordinating safety training, accident&nbsp;</p><p>and injury investigations and reporting and equipment or property damage&nbsp;</p><p>incidents investigations and reporting.</p><p>&bull; Build customer and employee relationships with excellent interpersonal and&nbsp;</p><p>communication skills.</p><p>&bull; Develop highly effective relationships with customers, business partners,&nbsp;</p><p>crating operations management and support staff.</p><p>&bull; Effectively manage job site projects by organizing all project information to&nbsp;</p><p>ensure they are accurate and contain all necessary information.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Consistently demonstrates professional conduct representative of MEI&nbsp;</p><p>corporate mission, vision and values.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Must be able to drive to customer job sites and work and direct all activates on&nbsp;</p><p>customer job sites.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Minimum Qualifications (Experience, Skills, and Education):</u></strong></p><p>&bull; HS diploma or equivalent necessary.</p><p>&bull; Minimum ten (10) years proven machinery moving foreman experience or&nbsp;</p><p>comparable field preferably within machinery moving industry.</p><p>&bull; Excellent interpersonal, supervisory and project management skills.</p><p>&bull; Highly self directed and motivated.</p><p>&bull; Valid driver&rsquo;s license required.</p><p>&bull; Must have own hand tools.</p><p>&bull; Must have extensive experience moving machinery with forklift, skating,&nbsp;</p><p>leveling and anchoring of machines.</p><p>&bull; Must be able to work along aside field technician in assembly and erecting of&nbsp;</p><p>machine tools.</p><p data-pasted=\"true\">&bull; Must be able to obtain DOT medical card upon hire (company will assist as needed).</p><p data-pasted=\"true\">&bull; Must possess a current NCCCO Rigger Level II certification or NCCER Advanced Rigger certification, and a current Signal Person certification.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:</u></strong></p><p>This is physical, hands-on work. Must be able to perform General Physical&nbsp;</p><p>Activities that require considerable use of arms, legs, and activities requiring&nbsp;</p><p>moving the whole body such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, or&nbsp;</p><p>crouching. May regularly lift items up to 50 pounds. Frequently uses senses&nbsp;</p><p>involving sight, smell, touch, and auditory. May work off the ground at varying&nbsp;</p><p>heights; must not be affected by flashing lights, noise, or moving machinery. May&nbsp;</p><p>perform occasional work in a warehouse or non-temperature-controlled&nbsp;</p><p>environment and/or outdoors over uneven terrain or with exposure to inclement&nbsp;</p><p>weather.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Additional Requirements:</u></strong></p><p>Work with a Top-of-Mind Awareness for the safety of yourself and everyone at&nbsp;</p><p>the job site.
