They must be <strong>H</strong>onest, <strong>O</strong>bjective, <strong>M</strong>ature and <strong>E</strong>fficient in how they approach their role at Green Brick Partners.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Closing and Funding Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end mortgage loan closing and funding process within a retail lending environment. This role ensures loans are closed and funded accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with company policies, investor guidelines, and regulatory requirements. The manager leads and develops closing and funding staff, drives operational excellence, manages risk, and partners cross-functionally to deliver an exceptional borrower and referral partner experience.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversee daily workflow for loan closing and funding to ensure SLAs and turn times are met.</li>\n <li>Ensure accurate preparation, review, and execution of closing documents.</li>\n <li>Manage funding authorization, wire approvals, and conditions related to closing and funding.</li>\n <li>Resolve complex loan issues and escalations related to documentation or title matters.</li>\n <li>Lead, coach, and develop a team of Closers and Funders. </li>\n <li>Set performance expectations, conduct regular reviews, and provide ongoing feedback and training. </li>\n <li>Identify operational risks, inefficiencies, and bottlenecks; implement process improvements and automation where appropriate.</li>\n <li>Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Authority/Budget/Decision Making/Discretion and Independent Judgment Ability:  </strong></p>\n<p>Utilizes discretion, judgment, and high-level analytical skills to interpret complex situations. Will manage a team of Loan Officers.
