    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Maintenance Analyzer Technician at the Clear Lake, Texas site is responsible for the execution of site-wide analyzer maintenance, including preventive maintenance (PM), troubleshooting, repair, and replacement activities. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, technical expertise, and the ability to safely use a wide range of tools and diagnostic equipment.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide technical expertise and support for site process analyzers.</li>\n <li>Ensure analyzer installations and applications meet site specifications and standards.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot analyzer issues and implement improvements to optimize On-Stream Reliability (OSR).</li>\n <li>Support commissioning and start-up of new analyzers.</li>\n <li>Participate in capital project planning, design, and implementation.</li>\n <li>Contribute to long-term analyzer reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.</li>\n</ul>\n<h3><strong>Maintenance & Compliance</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Execute the site analyzer PM program and maintain compliance with:\n  <ul>\n   <li>ISO 9000</li>\n   <li>CEMS CGAs</li>\n   <li>HRVOC and regulatory compliance programs</li>\n   <li>Process safety systems (SIS, process interlocks)</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Review Certificates of Analysis to ensure accuracy and validity of calibration standards.</li>\n <li>Support Analyzer Management of Change (MOC) as a technical representative.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and site policies.</li>\n</ul>\n<h3><strong>Planning & Execution</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Review job packages, understand scope, and develop pre-task plans aligned with Conduct of Maintenance and Celanese Standard Maintenance Procedures.</li>\n <li>Obtain work permits and coordinate effectively with operations and other stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Execute predictive maintenance, calibrations, modifications, and repairs safely and efficiently.</li>\n <li>Review specification sheets, Analyzer PFDs, and control strategies.</li>\n <li>Identify required materials, instrumentation, and components for task execution.</li>\n <li>Coordinate analyzer maintenance needs for unit outages with Analyzer Specialists and Team Captain.</li>\n</ul>\n<h3><strong>Reliability & Continuous Improvement</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform root cause analysis on recurring analyzer issues (“bad actors”) to improve reliability and reduce failures.</li>\n <li>Interpret predictive maintenance and PI data trends to identify emerging issues and mitigate risk.</li>\n <li>Provide feedback on work plans to Maintenance Planning.</li>\n</ul>\n<h3><strong>Communication & Teamwork</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain clear communication with the Maintenance Team Captain regarding issues during execution.</li>\n <li>Coordinate hand-off back to operations, including return-to-service and permit closure.</li>\n <li>Collaborate effectively with engineers, technicians, operations personnel, and vendors.</li>\n <li>Foster a professional, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<h3><strong>Additional Expectations</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Work independently or as part of a team with a strong team-building mindset.</li>\n <li>Participate in overtime and after-hours callout rotation as required.</li>\n <li>Complete craft progression requirements in a timely manner.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma or equivalent required</li>\n <li>Associates degree in Instrumentation Technology with certificate in Analytical Instrumentation preferred or equivalent certification</li>\n <li>Minimum of 3 year of maintenance experience in a chemical, refinery, or related industrial environment</li>\n <li>Experience as an Analyzer Technician or Trainee prefered</li>\n</ul>\n<h1><strong>Key Abilities</strong></h1>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with CEMS, IR, GC, TC, BTU, and Process O₂ analyzers.</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of SIS and control systems</li>\n <li>Experience with SAP for parts and maintenance management.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with Siemens Maxum II analyzers.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of analyzer networks and communications (Ethernet, Modbus, OPC).</li>\n <li>Familiarity with Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS).</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of compliance programs and regulatory requirements.</li>\n <li>Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, PFDs, layout drawings, and control strategies.</li>\n <li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to adapt quickly and make decisions in real time.</li>\n <li>Effective communication across diverse technical and operational teams.</li>\n</ul>\n<h1><strong>Attributes</strong></h1>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong technical and computer proficiency.</li>\n <li>High-quality decision-making and attention to detail.</li>\n <li>Ability to prioritize work effectively.</li>\n <li>Strong communication and collaboration skills.</li>\n <li>Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.</li>\n <li>Strong troubleshooting skills (both simple and complex systems).</li>\n <li>Positive, proactive work attitude.</li>\n</ul>",
