This team works to provide a safe and nurturing environment to support young accompaniments at La Casita Center and enhance academic and social skills in children through formal and informal programming.  This is an unpaid internship.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Management and supervision:</span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\"> The assigned support person for onboarding and supervisory functions is the Capacity Building Coordinator. The intern’s Children Enrichment experience and delegation of tasks will be given by the Children &amp; Youth Enrichment Community Liaison</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Duties/Responsibilities:  </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Campamento de La Alegría program(school aged children, June and July)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Engage students by responding to their questions, uplifting their work, and checking in with students</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Support Camp volunteers as needed</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Other duties as assigned pertaining to the camp (may include supporting with meals, menu and grocery list coordination, coordination of volunteers, and support with virtual content)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Supports the team to provide lessons and activities to students</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Works directly with students during field trips and/or special events </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Supports the child care area for daily walk-in programming, community events, Encuentros and Fundraising events, working with volunteers as needed</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Set up and clean up of Children Enrichment spaces</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Supports the team in the planning and execution of the Día de Los Niñxs y Regreso A Clases events</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Builds rapport with families an</span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">d children being accompanied.  </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;
