Our API Pharmacy is a 340b Pharmacy</p><p><br></p><p><strong>SUPERVISOR</strong>: Director of Pharmacy</p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></u></p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>Pharmacy</strong></u></p><ul><li>Accurately and timely, fill all prescriptions.</li><li>Review prescriptions for Drug-Drug Interactions, Food-Drug Interactions, Drug Allergies, Drug Misuse, etc.</li><li>Maintain patient profiles and pharmacy records.</li><li>Counsel patients on their medications.</li><li>Supervise pharmacy technicians, pharmacy students, and pharmacy residents.</li><li>Participate in 3rd party billing and inventory management operations.</li><li>Oversee patient assistance program.</li><li>Follow current and new Federal and State Laws, including 340b integrity regulations.</li><li>Act as the pharmacist-in-charge.</li></ul><p><u><strong>Establish and Provide Clinical Pharmacy Services</strong></u></p><ul><li>Identify patients for clinical referral.</li><li>Work in collaboration with all members of the care team to assess, facilitate, plan and advocate appropriate services to meet the patient’s health requirements on an individual basis.</li><li>Provide Medication Therapy Management (MTM) and disease management services.</li><li>Provide immunizations.</li><li>Authorizing refills in accordance with the Clinic Refill Policy.</li><li>Precept pharmacy residents and students.</li><li>Maintain good working rapport with physicians and other health care professionals.</li><li>Answer drug information questions posed by providers.</li><li>Provide educational in-services to medical and dental providers</li><li>Evaluate the delivery of patient care services through research and quality improvement initiatives.</li><li>Participate in service development/improvement.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Additional Tasks as Assigned by the Director of Pharmacy.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>",
