As one of North America’s largest independent manufacturers of consumer products, KIK helps a large portfolio of brands and retailers bring their products to life.</p><p><strong>Your Role at KIK</strong></p><p>The Production Supervisor 2nd Shift leads the daily operations of the filling department to ensure production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and within quality standards. This role oversees shift performance, coordinates production employees, and proactively addresses operational challenges to minimize downtime and maintain on-time delivery. As a hands-on leader, the Supervisor drives continuous improvement initiatives, enforces safety and compliance standards, and fosters a high-performing team culture focused on productivity, accountability, and development.</p><p><strong>The schedule for this role is Monday through Thursday, 3:00 PM to 2:00 AM (PST), with overtime regularly scheduled on Fridays as needed. The pay range for this role is $90,000.00-100,000.00 plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.</strong></p><p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p><ul><li>Lead daily production line operations to achieve production schedules while meeting safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives</li><li>Supervise, coach, and develop 2 Shift Leads and approximately 25 production employees: drive accountability, engagement, and performance</li><li>Monitor key production metrics including output, yields, downtime, waste, and labor efficiency; implement corrective actions to improve results</li><li>Ensure strict adherence to all safety policies, GMP standards, sanitation requirements, and regulatory compliance expectations</li><li>Conduct shift kick-off meetings and lead cross-functional communication to align priorities across Production, QA, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and HR</li><li>Optimize staffing and manpower utilization based on production demand, attendance, and schedule priorities</li><li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing downtime, improving reliability, and lowering operational costs using Lean or similar methodologies</li><li>Maintain inspection-ready conditions at all times, ensuring housekeeping, documentation, and quality standards are consistently met</li><li>Oversee production documentation including work orders, labor reporting, timecards, quality checks, and daily performance tracking</li><li>Support employee development and performance management activities, including training, safety programs, and corrective action in alignment with company policy</li></ul><p><strong>What You’ll Bring</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or GED required</li><li>5+ years of manufacturing experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role</li><li>Bilingual required - ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish</li><li>Demonstrated experience leading teams in a fast-paced production environment with a strong focus on safety, quality, and performance metrics</li><li>Strong working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), including documentation control, deviation management, corrective actions, and audit readiness</li><li>Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable while fostering a positive, high-performing culture</li><li>Strong working knowledge of GMP, safety programs, and 6S/lean workplace standards; experience conducting safety training and tracking compliance</li><li>Results-driven mindset with a track record of improving efficiency, reducing downtime, and driving continuous improvement initiatives</li><li>Effective conflict management skills and the ability to lead through change in a dynamic manufacturing setting</li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build partnerships across departments</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production reporting systems</li><li>Experience with high-speed automated production equipment; bottle filling machinery experience strongly preferred</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What You Will Get</strong></p><p>KIK offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits including health, wellness, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
