This is a unique solo practice opportunity in a beautiful rural island community. Locum dates can be customized to suit your availability in 2026.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Your support would make a significant difference for the community, and we would be truly grateful for your assistance.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>What we offer:</p>\n<ul>\n <li> Clinic Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am – 4:00 pm; closed on statutory holidays.</li>\n <li> Full-day and half-day clinic shifts are available, offering flexibility to work 3 to 4.5 days per week, including options for in-person and virtual patient visits.</li>\n <li> Emergency transfers supported by BC Emergency Health Services (BCEHS).</li>\n <li> Join a supportive network of CME, primary care integration through qathet Division of Family Practice.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Your role:</p>\n<ul>\n <li> Provide comprehensive primary and urgent care services.</li>\n <li> Assess and diagnose a broad range of acute and chronic conditions.</li>\n <li> Initiate appropriate treatments and interventions.</li>\n <li> Provide professional guidance to other health professionals and participates autonomously as a member of the interdisciplinary health teams.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Travel & Expense Coverage</p>\n<ul>\n <li> Accommodation can be provided </li>\n <li> Round-trip ferry costs covered</li>\n <li> Meal per diems provided on travel days</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education, Licensing, & Experience</strong><strong>:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) – Full </li>\n <li>Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) – Mandatory </li>\n <li>Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) - Mandatory</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Closing Statement</h2>\n<p>Interested in applying?
