Successful applicants must work with integrity, respect, and take responsibility for the security and safety of the Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport.</span></span></p><p><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><strong><u>What you will do:</u></strong></span></span></p><ul><li><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Patrol the Passenger Terminal Building on both the public and restricted sides;</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Patrol PortsToronto facilities including but not limited to the tunnel and ferry terminals;</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Patrol the airport perimeter (foot and vehicle) security barrier (external &amp; internal) and report any deficiencies of security barrier to the Airport Operations Communication Center;</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Patrol the groundside curb, parking lots and grounds around the airport;</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Respond to calls for assistance from employees or at the direction of the Airport Operations Communication Center;</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Carry and use Explosive Trace Detection (ETD) equipment as required;</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Complete appropriate reports and or daily logs on all incidents, security infractions, deficiencies, or other irregularities noted during patrols;</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Escort unauthorized persons out of the Restricted Area or off the premises if found therein;</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Conduct general airside escorts as requested;</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Provide assistance to emergency response personnel;</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Provide assistance to the public, i.e., general information, directions, etc.;</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Crowd control and maintenance of public order within the Airport;</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Verification of airport restricted area passes utilizing mobile card reader;</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Assist Traffic Control personnel during peak times;</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Conduct AVOP and RAIC enforcement;</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Carry and operate portable radios to communicate with each other and the Airport Operations Communication Center other responders;
