    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and patient-focused <strong>Cataract & Refractive Surgery Scheduling Coordinator</strong> to join our fast-paced, high-volume ophthalmology practice specializing in cataract surgery and premium refractive lens technologies.</p>\n<p>This is an excellent opportunity for an organized professional who enjoys educating patients, coordinating surgical care, and helping patients achieve outstanding visual outcomes through advanced cataract and refractive procedures.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Counsel cataract surgery patients regarding surgical options and premium refractive lens technologies.</li>\n <li>Educate patients on Toric, Multifocal, Extended Depth of Focus (EDOF), and Light Adjustable Lens (LAL) options.</li>\n <li>Assist patients in selecting refractive lens packages based on their visual goals and physician recommendations.</li>\n <li>Coordinate and schedule cataract and refractive surgeries with physicians and ambulatory surgery centers.</li>\n <li>Maintain proactive communication with patients throughout the surgical process.</li>\n <li>Place and manage intraocular lens (IOL) orders while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.</li>\n <li>Coordinate surgical paperwork, authorizations, and scheduling logistics.</li>\n <li>Work closely with physicians, technicians, surgery centers, and administrative staff to provide exceptional patient care.</li>\n <li>Manage a high-volume surgical schedule while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and customer service.</li>\n <li>Answer patient questions regarding surgery preparation, financial responsibilities, postoperative expectations, and refractive options.</li>\n <li>Track surgical cases and ensure all required documentation is completed prior to surgery dates.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Previous ophthalmology experience required.</li>\n <li>Cataract surgery scheduling experience strongly preferred.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of premium refractive lens technologies and cataract surgery workflows preferred.</li>\n <li>Strong patient counseling and sales skills with the ability to discuss elective refractive upgrades confidently and professionally.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li>\n <li>Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.</li>\n <li>Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.</li>\n <li>Proficiency with electronic medical records and scheduling systems.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Compensation & Benefits</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Base salary: <strong>$52,000 annually</strong></li>\n <li>Monthly performance-based bonus program</li>\n <li>Total annual compensation potential: <strong>$60,000–$79,000+</strong></li>\n <li>Paid time off (PTO)</li>\n <li>Paid holidays</li>\n <li>Health insurance benefits available</li>\n <li>Professional growth opportunities within a leading ophthalmology practice</li>\n <li>Collaborative and supportive team environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p>If you are passionate about patient care and enjoy guiding patients through life-changing vision procedures, we encourage you to apply and become part of our growing ophthalmology team.</p>\n<h2>Min</h2>USD $52,000.00/Yr.\n<h2>Max</h2>",
