We are committed to fostering a work environment focused on teamwork that celebrates diversity, promotes equity and ensures equal access to information, development and opportunity for all of our Healthcare Pros.</p>\n<h2>Position Overview</h2>\n<p>The purpose of this position is to perform the primary functions of a nurse in assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care.  </p>\n<h2>Essential Job Functions</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Plan, prioritize, and provide proficient, age-specific and developmentally/specialty appropriate nursing care by applying advanced specialty clinical nursing knowledge and skills and for ensuring the comfort and safety of patients/families </li>\n <li>Follow physician's orders in the delivery of nursing care</li>\n <li>Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of information and records at all times</li>\n <li>Adhere to required infection control, isolation procedures and aseptic techniques in the delivery of patient care</li>\n <li>Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing in accordance with established policies and procedures, as well as COLA and CLIA regulations</li>\n <li>Perform admission, discharge and transfer procedures</li>\n <li>Assemble equipment and supplies for various diagnostic or treatment procedures in the specialty service area; perform or assist others with procedures or treatments </li>\n <li>Handle care in accordance with legal, hospital/facility, departmental policies and procedures, and established standards of nursing care and practice, as defined by the Board of Nursing for that State.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Other Job Functions</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform all Quality Assessment activities assigned and document</li>\n <li>Attend staff meetings or other company sponsored or mandated meetings as required</li>\n <li>Perform additional duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Basic Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma required; BSN, preferred</li>\n <li>Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse without sanctions, required</li>\n <li>2+ years full-time RN experience in Telemetry/ICU, or 2+ years combination experience in related healthcare positions, required</li>\n <li>Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, required; PALS strongly preferred (ENPC certification from ENA may be substituted for PALS certification)</li>\n <li>Position requires fluency in English; written and oral communication</li>\n <li>Pennsylvania RN's: Act 33 (Child Abuse History Clearance), Act 73 (FBI Fingerprint Criminal History Clearance) completed within the last 5 years, or must be obtained prior to start date.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> #INDCCARE</p>",
