We’re hiring a dependable, self-managed <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Grounds Porter</span> to support a local hospital with multiple campuses. This role is customer-facing and requires professionalism, strong communication, and consistent attendance.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Position Overview</span></p>\n<p>You will be assigned to hospital properties and travel between multiple campuses during the day to handle routine grounds maintenance, detail work, and property upkeep. This is an independent role—ideal for someone who takes ownership, stays organized, and can work without constant supervision.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Schedule / Season</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Full-time seasonal:</span> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">March–December</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Hours:</span> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Mon–Fri, 7:30am–4:00pm</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Overtime may be required</span> (weather/seasonal demand)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform daily grounds “porter” duties across multiple facilities, including:\n<ul>\n<li>Trash/debris pickup, perimeter checks, and keeping entrances/walkways presentable</li>\n<li>Light landscaping maintenance (weeding, edging, trimming, pruning)</li>\n<li>Leaf clean-ups and seasonal detail work</li>\n<li>Mulch touch-ups and seasonal flower/bed maintenance (as needed)</li>\n<li>Mowing and trimming support when needed (based on site schedule)</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Drive between campuses safely and efficiently</li>\n<li>Communicate professionally with hospital contacts and Element supervisors</li>\n<li>Track work completed and report issues (storm damage, hazards, irrigation leaks, etc.)</li>\n<li>Operate equipment safely (string trimmer, blower, hedge trimmer, etc.); maintain basic care/cleanliness of tools</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Requirements (Must Have)</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Valid driver’s license + clean driving record (must be insurable)</span></li>\n<li>Comfortable working <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">independently</span> and staying productive throughout the day</li>\n<li>Reliable transportation to/from the shop (or designated reporting location)</li>\n<li>Ability to <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">read and write in English</span> (work notes, directions, basic documentation)</li>\n<li>Landscaping/grounds maintenance experience required</li>\n<li>Ability to work outdoors in all conditions and lift <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">50 lbs</span> regularly</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Preferred (Nice to Have)</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Illinois Pesticide Applicator License</span></li>\n<li>Experience on commercial properties (hospitals, schools, municipal sites)</li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and customer-service mindset</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">What We Offer</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive pay above industry standards</li>\n<li>Accrued paid time off</li>\n<li>Safety and technical training</li>\n<li>Bonus opportunities and advancement potential</li>\n</ul>",
