Description

Description The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Western New England University has an immediate opening for a part-time adjunct faculty position. Candidates for this position must have an MS degree in Civil Engineering or related field (or a BS with at least 5 years experience in the field) and must have demonstrated ability or potential for excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level. The candidate needs to have expertise in land surveying. The successful candidate will be asked to teach a sophomore-level course on the fundamentals of land surveying, global positioning system (GPS), and graphical information system (GIS). Qualifications Qualifications: MS degree in Civil Engineering or related field (or a BS with at least 5 years experience in the field) The demonstrated ability or potential for excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level Expertise in land surveying Western New England University (WNE) is a private, nationally ranked, comprehensive institution with a focus on preparing work-ready and world-ready graduates.
