    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\">&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p><strong>Warehouse Clerk Summary:</strong></p><p>The Warehouse Clerk&nbsp; is responsible for accurate receiving and distributing of parts and units to internal and external customers.</p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong>:</p><ul><li>Understand the layout of the warehouse and bin / shelf location systems</li><li>Retrieve and or put away parts</li><li>Verify part numbers, quantities, and inventory locations to ensure accuracy of requests</li><li>Follow work instructions for discrepancies such as damaged, misplaced or part shortages</li><li>Operate all material handling equipment safely while adhering to all company and OSHA policies and regulations</li><li>Work closely with team leader to resolve any task concerns that arise</li><li>Perform routine and assigned housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe work environment</li><li>Accurately read orders, locate inventory, and prepare for delivery to customer</li><li>Verify parts numbers, unit types, and delivery method</li><li>Pull orders for deliveries within the designated timeframe</li><li>Strong attention to detail</li><li>Accuracy in a fast-paced environment required&nbsp;</li><li>Strong math and computer skills</li><li>Ability to break through barriers and investigate and resolve problems</li><li>Possess good oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work both independently</li><li>Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</li><li>Forklift certification or the ability to obtain</li></ul><p><strong><u>General Physical Requirements:</u></strong> moderate to heavy work &ndash; required to exert up to 40 lbs. of force regularly, occasionally, up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, up to 75 lbs. of force rarely.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; &nbsp;Working Conditions: this position is subject to an inside working environment and will be exposed to:</p><ul><li>noise - loud, sharp, extended, impulse; up to, and occasionally more than, 85dBA (which may require use of hearing protection)</li><li>working on elevated platforms, ladders, and scaffolds</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; &nbsp;Physical Activities, Ergonomic Considerations: this position will be exposed to:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>standing, walking for majority of work shift</li><li>reaching in any direction, above and below shoulder level</li><li>lifting, carrying, pulling, pushing objects weighing up to 100 lbs.</li><li>performing work in a crouched, squatting, kneeling, or stooped position (body bent forward and down from waist) for extended periods of time,</li><li>repetitive grasping, pinching with fingers; repetitive pulling, pushing, twisting of wrists, elbows, and shoulders</li><li>balancing while on an elevated work platform, ladder, or scaffold</li><li>stepping up to work surfaces up to 26 inches in height.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>HME is an Equal Opportunity Employer and provides equal employment and advancement opportunities to all employees and applicants.
