We are currently seeking a Junior AV Technician to support our team at multiple locations across the United States. This position is responsible for performing the process of receiving, inventorying, assembling, installing, commissioning and testing AV and other simple network equipment on job site locations with minimal supervision and oversight. This position requires a variety of duties including construction labor as well as electrical and electronic installation and repair as discuss in Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities. </p>\n<h2>Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Moving and/or repositioning large equipment or wiring supplies. Individuals must be able to lift and carry heavy objects of 75 lbs unassisted and to steady objects above shoulder height while fastened into place by co-workers.</li>\n <li>Trouble-shooting audio and video cabling.</li>\n <li>Installing and terminating cables with the appropriate solder or compression connector.</li>\n <li>Drilling in drywall, concrete, and cinderblock for the purpose of running wires, installing projectors, projection screens, cameras, and speaker systems.</li>\n <li>Sanding, painting and other light construction jobs.</li>\n <li>Cleaning up job sites and breaking down boxes.</li>\n <li>Organizing and storing materials.</li>\n <li>Installing electronic and electrical components into equipment racks and other locations per wiring diagrams or verbal instructions.</li>\n <li>Working in confined spaces.</li>\n <li>Working on ladders and lifts at heights in excess of 10ft.</li>\n <li>Providing some direction mentoring of other installers and technicians.</li>\n <li>Performing other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Minimum Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to travel on regular/constant basis and often on short notice with long/unusual work hours. 50-70% travel.</li>\n <li>Successfully complete criminal background check, motor vehicle review and drug test prior to start.</li>\n <li>Strong communication skills and experience working on teams.</li>\n <li>Computer proficiency and familiarity with standard office productivity software including Google, Microsoft Word and Excel.</li>\n <li>Experience and comfort with hand tools, small power tools and industrial tools.</li>\n <li>Ability to learn new tasks quickly.</li>\n <li>Ability to make important decisions under tight timelines and in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n <li>Problem-solving and time management skills.</li>\n <li>Friendly and approachable.</li>\n <li>Valid driver's license with less than two citations in last two years and reliable transportation.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Physical Demands</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to lift 75 lbs and complete ladder and other safety training.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Company Benefits</h2>\n<p>PSI offers full-time, benefits eligible employees a competitive total compensation package that includes paid leave, and options for employer sponsored group medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, AD&D coverage, legal services, identity theft, and accident insurance.
