    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Power Generation Tech is responsible for performing various mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs on offshore facilities, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all electrical systems.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Properly terminate medium voltage equipment such as motors, VFDs, starters, MCCs, and generators.</li>\n <li>Work with and direct assistants as needed, ensuring safe operations.</li>\n <li>Maintain physical fitness to perform job duties effectively.</li>\n <li>Communicate effectively with customers on job locations and manage jobs without supervision.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot and repair low and medium voltage equipment such as motors, motor starters, generators, VFDs, MCCs, and switchgears.</li>\n <li>Participate in safety training and assist in procedures such as first aid, CPR, fire drills, and emergency evacuation.</li>\n <li>Travel to work sites via marine or helicopter transport as required.</li>\n <li>Provide account manager support via phone and email.</li>\n <li>Complete preventative maintenance on department equipment.</li>\n <li>Observe and comply with all safety and project rules.</li>\n <li>Take proper care of test instruments and tools in their care.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Experienced with low voltage systems and generators.</li>\n <li>Full knowledge and awareness of medium voltage safety procedures.</li>\n <li>Possess a solid understanding of electrical practices and theory for low and medium voltage systems.</li>\n <li>May need to reside at the worksite on a predetermined schedule.</li>\n <li>3-5 years of experience with medium voltage systems (2100VAC-13800VAC).</li>\n <li>3+ years of offshore/inland power generation electrical experience.</li>\n <li>Valid TWIC card.</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.</li>\n <li>Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical.</li>\n <li>Willing to work on-call shifts and be available for work 24/7.</li>\n <li>Comfortable with heights and flying, as the position involves working on both land and offshore projects.</li>\n</ul>",
