    "requisitionDescription": "<div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.32.25/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\">&nbsp;<link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.32.25/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><div class=\"fr-view\"><p id=\"isPasted\">Railhead Inc. is seeking a Staff Network Engineer to join our Defense Enclave Services (DES) team, who will support an extensive digital modernization program critical to Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and Department of Defense (DoD) Fourth Estate Agencies. The Staff Network Engineer will develop, configure, and deploy network services within the Azure Cloud and data centers to fulfill end user requirements.</p><p>This position is in Fort Meade, MD working in the DISA location with the option to remote work up to <strong>50%</strong> of the time.</p><p><strong>Primary Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Design, maintain, and operate Wireless and Local Area Networks (LANs/WLAN) and Wide Area Networks (WANs), using Infrastructure as Code and Ansible Automation Platform</li><li>Automate network changes across various vendor platforms and Azure Cloud</li><li>Assist multifunctional team to help optimize and visualize network operations</li><li>Conduct data captures to obtain network performance information</li><li>Provide inputs to the design of the enterprise&rsquo;s network and mission architecture</li><li>Evaluate network architectures across platforms to ensure alignment to cloud and network modernization strategies, capabilities and requirement sets</li><li>Actively identify opportunities for improvement, including innovations aimed at improving the user experience, improving efficiencies, and lowering sustainment costs</li><li>Enforce security best practices and guidelines, leveraging knowledge of security policies, network security, and data security</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Master&rsquo;s degree with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience. Specific experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree.</li><li>Experience designing, deploying, and operating software defined networking solutions</li><li>Strong understanding of networking in the areas of LAN, WAN, TCP/UDP, IPSec, VPN, proxies, routing (L2/L3), firewalls and software defined networking</li><li>Experience implementing dual-stack networking to use both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses simultaneously</li><li>Experience developing and deploying Infrastructure as Code (IaC), utilizing continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools, and leveraging automation platforms such as Ansible or Azure Functions</li><li>Understanding of Federal Government application, server, and network security requirements such as NIST, FedRAMP, and FISMA</li><li>Ability to work effectively within a distributed technical team, aided by strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Familiarity with the Atlassian suite, including Jira and Confluence&nbsp;</li><li>Current IAT Level II (or higher) Certification such as Security + CE or CISSP</li><li>Currently posses an active U.S. DoD Secret clearance.</li><li>Certified Cisco Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent</li><li>Working experience installing, configuring, and managing Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, and IPAM)</li></ul><p><strong>About Railhead:</strong></p><p>Railhead, Inc. is a leader in intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance; advanced cyber solutions; cloud and managed IT solutions; engineering, and information-based solutions for law enforcement and homeland security.
