Perform other related job duties as assigned.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Plumbing and Electrical Knowledge-REQUIRED  NO Training provided as this is a Experienced/Independent position. Must be able to complete tasks with trade skills 100%. If this does not fall in your area of expertise, we do not have interests in reviewing inquiries or your application. </span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Minimum Job Requirements:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>3-5 years of work experience in related field preferred</span></li>\n<li><span>Some college or vocational training preferred but not required</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Strong written and verbal communication skills</span></li>\n<li><span>Valid Drivers License</span></li>\n<li><span>Own reliable source of transportation</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Required/Other Qualifications:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Possess a valid Colorado driver’s license and have a satisfactory driving record</span></li>\n<li><span>Solid understanding of mechanical, operating, and electrical functions</span></li>\n<li><span>Knowledgeable with heavy equipment and maintenance</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Knowledge with Plumbing and Electrical</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to liaise with other departments to achieve a common goal </span></li>\n<li><span>Flexible to working some evenings and weekends (Project Construction Events)</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Functions/Job Duties:</span></span><span> (including but not limited to):</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Maintenance and operations of The Wild Horse Refuge grounds to include custodial, maintenance, transportation, facility operations and repair projects</span></li>\n<li><span>Evaluates daily work orders and prioritizes as needed</span></li>\n<li><span>Maintenance and routine care for all heavy equipment</span></li>\n<li><span>Driving, operating, and transporting Heavy Equipment, Heavy Haul, Belly Dump as needed</span></li>\n<li><span>Communicates matters involving facilities and grounds in a current and timely manner with the Director of Operations and Executive Director</span></li>\n<li><span>Provide professional and effective project management, replacement planning, mechanical work, welding, general plumbing and electrical tasks.</span></li>\n<li><span>Exercising sound independent judgement within general policy guidelines</span></li>\n<li><span>Perform light excavation, using shovel, picks, and other equipment and tools to dig trenches and level ground</span></li>\n<li><span>Concrete project work including fencing</span></li>\n<li><span>Able to lift 75lbs or more, physical abilities needed to complete the job: lifting and carrying heavy materials such as; furniture, equipment, and tools. Some tasks involve; climbing, crawling, and stooping to reach. Need to be able to; pull, push or manipulate heavy objects against resistance, work outdoors in temperature extremes and inclement weather.
