The Medical Assistant may be assigned to any AccessHealth clinic location.</p>\r\n\r\n<hr />\r\n<h3><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong></h3>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Escort patients to available exam rooms and prepare them for visits</li>\r\n\t<li>Obtain and document patient chief complaints and vital signs</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain accurate and confidential medical records</li>\r\n\t<li>Assist providers during examinations, treatments, and procedures as directed</li>\r\n\t<li>Perform waived laboratory testing and assist with procedures per provider direction</li>\r\n\t<li>Perform phlebotomy duties as required by clinic site or operational needs</li>\r\n\t<li>Provide verbal and written translation assistance as needed</li>\r\n\t<li>Stock, prepare, and maintain exam rooms for patient care</li>\r\n\t<li>Assist with ordering and maintaining medical supplies</li>\r\n\t<li>Discharge patients and provide visit instructions as directed by the provider</li>\r\n\t<li>Schedule appointments and prepare reminder cards</li>\r\n\t<li>Ensure clinic areas are clean, safe, and orderly</li>\r\n\t<li>Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities</li>\r\n\t<li>Clean, package, autoclave instruments, and complete required documentation</li>\r\n\t<li>Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n",
