Come join the QCC team and be part of our vision for the future!</p><p><strong>Quality Medical Technician (QMT) Responsibilities</strong>:</p><ul><li>Medication administration</li><li>Obtaining vital signs</li><li>Assisting in sick call using medical protocols</li><li>Communicating with the facility or on-call Medical Provider</li><li> Respond to medical emergencies</li><li>Be capable of performing life saving measures and ability to take charge and give direction in an emergency.</li><li> Collect laboratory specimens, as needed</li><li>Follow the “Rules of 100” and provide patient care as specified</li><li> Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in patient charts</li></ul><p><strong>Location</strong>: Clay County Jail, Brazil, IN</p><p><strong>Shift Opening(s)</strong>: 6:30 AM-6:30 PM 1 shift/week<br><br><strong>Requirements</strong>: </p>• Active CPR certification <br>• Minimum of 6 months of experience in the medical field<br>• EMT, QMA, or CMA certification highly preferred <br>• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time<br>• Must be able to push, pull, reach, and bend frequently<br>• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds<br>Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) preferred<br> ",
