          "text": "<p>Senior Project Engineer – Performs &amp; plans commissioning of electrical systems. Must be a self-motivated &amp;<br>\nenergetic professional. Must have understanding of building electrical systems design &amp; construction. Must have experience with commissioning process of electrical systems ranging in size, rating and complexity. The ideal candidate shall possess theoretical and practical knowledge in the commissioning, testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems and related controls. Candidate will be responsible for reviewing project information; coordinating and executing daily field activities; maintaining project documentation; assisting the Project Manager with schedule and planning of resources; and providing guidance to Project Engineers. May perform as team lead on small to medium sized projects. Will be expected to assess and test at a high technical level. This role requires the candidate to have technical competency, organizational skills, good communication skills, and to work well in a team environment where leadership is necessary</p><p><strong>Primary Duties/Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>List essential job functions that comprise the job; describe in terms of actions (verbs) and desired outcomes in order of most important first:</p><ul><li>Commission electrical distribution equipment and related controls, primarily in data center environments, including high voltage and medium voltage systems</li><li>Review system designs for compliance with client facility goals</li><li>Prepare plans and procedures for execution of the commissioning process</li><li>Conduct commissioning activities from the design phase through the occupation phase, in accordance with client requirements and industry commissioning process best practices</li><li>Attend factory testing of equipment and document procedures and results</li><li>Conduct functional testing of equipment</li><li>Perform analysis of test results using instrumentation and prepare reports</li><li>Understand critical power quality requirements and test procedures</li><li>Perform thermographic surveys and analyze results</li><li>Fully document all field procedures including results, issues and observations either via company provided templates or online applications</li><li>Report on system performance and make technical recommendations on issues</li><li>Work with the Project Manager and project teams to coordinate and execute field activities</li><li>Prepare and provide input on commissioning project documentation and schedules</li><li>Draft comprehensive test procedures for a variety of equipment and systems</li><li>Attend relevant project coordination and schedule meetings as necessary</li><li>May be required to lead commissioning meetings or speak on technical topics</li><li>Assist with submitting and maintaining daily commissioning reports</li><li>Train and guide both Associate Project Engineers and Project Engineers on roles &amp; responsibilities</li><li>Respond to project team and client inquiries in a professional and timely manner</li><li>Comply with company, client, and project safety requirements</li><li>Be knowledgeable with building equipment, including, but not limited to:<ul><li>Generator</li><li>Generator Paralleling Switchgear</li><li>High / Medium / Low Voltage Transformer (XFMR)</li><li>Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS Systems)</li><li>Battery Systems</li><li>High / Medium / Low Voltage Switchgear (SWGR)</li><li>Low Voltage Main Switchboards (MSB)</li><li>PLC Control</li><li>Automatic and Semi-Automatic Switching Controls</li><li>Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS)</li><li>Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS)</li><li>Static Transfer Switch (STS)</li><li>Power Distribution Unit (PDU)</li><li>Busways</li><li>Remote Power Panel (RPP)</li><li>Grounding Systems</li><li>Lighting Control Systems</li></ul></li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p>",

          "text": "<p><strong>Education/Experience/Background:</strong></p><ul><li>BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering with 5 or more years with mission critical project experience, or relevant and applicable industry experience</li><li>Minimum of 7 or more years of experience in commissioning with mission critical project experience, or relevant and applicable industry experience</li></ul><p><strong>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in Mission Critical facility commissioning essential</li><li>Organized, detail-oriented, analytical, proactive, problem solver&#xa0;</li><li>Good communication and relationship skills</li><li>Effective written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, work with limited supervision and manage junior engineers on day to day tasks</li><li>Knowledge &amp; experience with ASHRAE or BCxA commissioning guidelines preferred</li><li>Knowledge &amp; experience with InterNational Electrical Testing Association (NETA) test specifications</li><li>Distributed control system experience a plus</li><li>Good understanding of building management systems (BMS) and/or electrical power monitoring system (EPMS)</li><li>Deep understanding and application of test instrumentation&#xa0;</li><li>Team player and a “client-first” mentality</li></ul><p><strong>Required Certification/Licenses/Training:</strong></p><ul><li>Professional Engineers (PE) License and/or a commissioning certification a plus but not required</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to walk up to 5 miles per day</li><li>Carry up to 50 lbs</li><li>Ability to wear required PPE daily</li></ul><p><strong>Work Environment:</strong></p><p>Travel nationwide 50% - 75% if not assigned locally; may have periods of higher travel expectation</p>",
