Description

Skillforce is hiring an Electrical/Mechanical Technician to build and assemble electrical and mechanical products at a manufacturing facility in the Richmond, VA area. This is hands-on production work — following blueprints and schematics, wiring components, and using your trade skills every shift. Pay: $24–$27 per hour, depending on experience Weekly pay Overtime available Schedule: Monday–Friday, day shift Occasional extra hours based on production needs Responsibilities: Assemble electrical and mechanical components following blueprints and schematics Wire components and perform equipment hookups per specifications Cut, bend, and thread pipe as part of assembly work Apply carpentry and mechanical skills as needed on the production floor Keep work area organized and document completed work accurately Qualifications: 5–7 years of hands-on experience in 2 or more trades: electrical, carpentry, plumbing, or HVAC Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Working knowledge of the NEC Proficient with hand and power tools Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the Richmond, VA area Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Benefits: Weekly pay Paid time off – vacation, holidays Health, vision, dental insurance Referral bonus program for skilled tradespeople 401k Apply now with your updated resume — we respond to all qualified applicants promptly.
