This position partners closely with the Shop Manager to drive revenue, lead the team, strengthen marketing initiatives, and maintain operational excellence. </p>\n<p>The Assistant Shop Manager helps build a high-performing team culture while ensuring Drybar’s brand standards and client experience remain exceptional.</p>\n<h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2>\n<h3><strong>Business Growth & Sales Leadership</strong></h3>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Analyze and manage key performance indicators to support revenue growth.</li>\n <li>Set and monitor team sales goals related to services, retail, and memberships.</li>\n <li>Lead retail initiatives, product launches, and upselling strategies.</li>\n <li>Develop initiatives that increase client retention and repeat visits.</li>\n</ul>\n<h3><strong>Marketing & Brand Growth</strong></h3>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead the shop’s social media presence and content development.</li>\n <li>Assist the shop manager with planning and executing marketing campaigns, community partnerships, and in-store events.</li>\n <li>Build relationships with local businesses, schools, and organizations to support community outreach.</li>\n</ul>\n<h3><strong>Leadership & Team Development</strong></h3>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Support recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of stylists and bartenders.</li>\n <li>Mentor leadership team members, including Education Leads and Operations Coordinators.</li>\n <li>Foster a high-performance culture focused on client experience and team engagement.</li>\n <li>Reinforce a positive team culture, focused on the Drybar Core Values.</li>\n</ul>\n<h3><strong>Operational Leadership</strong></h3>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Serve as Manager-on-Duty when the Shop Manager is unavailable.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and service protocols.</li>\n <li>Monitor inventory levels and oversee ordering processes.</li>\n <li>Assist with Booker management and staff scheduling.</li>\n <li>Ensure optimized schedule and monitor utilization and labor efficiency.</li>\n <li>Maintain shop organization, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.</li>\n <li>Exceed client experience expectations to deliver  top tier satisfaction results through google and client service reviews.</li>\n</ul>\n<h3><strong>Reporting & Strategy</strong></h3>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide performance reports and operational updates to senior leadership.</li>\n <li>Partner with the Shop Manager to develop strategies that improve shop profitability through effective management of expenses.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2><strong>Success in This Role</strong></h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>The shop consistently meets or exceeds key KPIs, including gross sales,, stylist utilization, add-on sales, client satisfaction, membership growth and other KPIs.</li>\n <li>The team delivers a consistent Drybar brand experience.</li>\n <li>Marketing initiatives increase client loyalty and shop visibility.</li>\n <li>The shop operates efficiently with strong team engagement and client satisfaction.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2><strong>Qualifications</strong></h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Active state-issued Cosmetology License preferred.</li>\n <li>Minimum 3 years of experience in a salon or hospitality leadership role.</li>\n <li>Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to analyze performance data and implement growth strategies.</li>\n <li>Experience with Booker, Canva, or similar operational systems preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2><strong>Compensation & Benefits</strong><strong><em> ( added for job post)</em></strong></h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive hourly wage plus tips and commissions from services delivered.</li>\n <li>Eligible for company incentive programs and performance bonuses.</li>\n <li>Paid Time Off.</li>\n <li>Opportunities for career advancement within Drybar leadership.</li>\n</ul>\n<p></p>\n<h2>Legal Disclaimer</h2>©2023 DB Franchise, LLC (“DBF”).
