With over 60 patents and 21,000 systems installed across 37 countries, Komline-Filtra Systems offers a wide range of products ranging from water purification, coolant/oil filtration, air/mist collectors, and pressure filters.&nbsp;</p><p>The Mechanical Engineer will focus on ensuring all design documentation related to the construction of equipment, products and services are generated and distributed to appropriate parties to ensure successful completion. The position participates in all aspects of project related activities from drawing and BoM management, shop drawings, timeline generation, cost management, in-shop acceptance testing, and field commissioning.</p><p>A successful candidate will have the knowledge and capability to interface with a cross-functional team of engineers to successfully meet customer expectations. The candidate shall possess sufficient knowledge of mechanical design and fabrication practices to support and execute various product development and construction projects.</p><p><strong>Roles and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Design and detail parts and assemblies utilizing 3D (SolidWorks, etc.) and 2D (AutoCAD, etc.) software</li><li>Interface with designers and engineers in team environment</li><li>Generate documentation to facilitate manufacture of products including drawings, bills of material, material specifications and design files</li><li>Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and customers as necessary to satisfy various design requirements</li><li>Generating and maintaining project engineering planning documents (Gnatt charts, drawing records, etc..) to communicate project status</li><li>Complete, document and provide engineering designs, calculations, processes and procedures relevant to assigned projects</li><li>Checks work of others, as necessary, for the successful completion of assigned projects</li><li>Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor&rsquo;s instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output</li><li>Responsible for keeping own immediate work area in a neat and orderly condition to ensure safety of self and co-workers Will report any unsafe conditions and/or practices to the appropriate supervisor and human resources. Will immediately correct any unsafe conditions as the best of own ability</li><li>Promotes and encourages a culture of knowledge generation and distribution pertaining to products, services, and technology</li><li>Maintains a positive attitude toward others at all time</li></ul><p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in an engineering discipline and 3-5 years relevant experience</li><li>Proficient with SolidWorks, 2D Cad tools such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Office</li><li>Ability to use time management skills, multitasking, and work flexibility to maintain project schedules</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively</li><li>Ability to learn and apply new tools in order to maintain cutting edge technology</li><li>Ability to maintain project files for ease of access for updates and changes</li><li>Successful applicants to advanced levels will have a demonstrated understanding of one or more of the following categories:<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\"><li>Design knowledge and component selection of sheet metal fabrication (material specifications, manufacturing processes, equipment capabilities)</li><li>Design knowledge and component selection of piping systems (pumps, valves, filters, fittings, ASME and AWS specifications)</li><li>Design knowledge and component selection of refrigeration systems (compressors, valves, evaporators, condensers)&nbsp;</li><li>Design knowledge and component selection of industrial ventilation systems (industrial blowers, valves, ductwork, ASHRAE and NFPA specifications)</li></ul></li><li>Ability to travel about 10% of the time</li></ul><p><strong>Equal Opportunity Statement:</strong> Komline is an EEO employer &ndash; M/F/Vets/Disabled</p>\n",
