Working closely with the AFC and its stakeholders, Asia Football Group strives for the success and growth of Asian football, as well as redefining Asian football’s commercial standing within global football by addressing the shared business objectives of the AFC, its sponsors and media partners with solutions derived from optimising fan engagement and digitally driven innovations. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; font-weight: bold\">The Role</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">AFG is responsible for the operational delivery of AFC’s commercial rights (for Media Partners and Sponsors) at AFC matches, tournaments, and events. </span><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">The AFG Broadcast Manager (BM) is the senior broadcast representative on venue and is responsible for overseeing all planning and matchday broadcast operations. </span><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">The BM is the main AFG liaison on broadcast matters for the AFC and Host Organisation, as well as being the key point of contact for the Host Broadcaster, attending AFC Media Rights Holders, and the AFG Broadcast Technical Centre (BTC) located in Singapore.</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Location</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Candidates should already be residing in any one of the following countries: Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Yemen. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Contract Type</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Freelance </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Successful candidates will be engaged by AFG on a freelance basis, i.e., a fee will be paid when services are provided for matchday operations and other commitments as required such as staff training and stadium site visits.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Candidates may be set up as their own business entity in their home country and must maintain their own business registrations, compliance, tax arrangements, employment law obligations and any required insurances. Freelancers will invoice AFG for their services at a standard, agreed rate</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\"> Attending Site Visits to identify all broadcast spaces and infrastructure required for matchday TV production</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\"> Co-ordination with the Host Organisation to ensure all Broadcast operational areas and infrastructure are delivered as required</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\"> Management of the Broadcast Compound and Media Partner accreditation, bibs and venue access</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\"> Overseeing Host Broadcaster set-up and matchday delivery on venue</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\"> Working closely with the venue team (including but not limited to AFG Commercial Manager, AFC Match Commissioner, AFC Local General Co-ordinator, Local Media Officer, Team Media Officers) to successfully deliver the match production </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\"> Attending and representing AFG at organisational meetings </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\"> Ensuring key timings and other details critical to match production are shared with all relevant parties</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\"> Conducting technical checks and tests including VAR, satellite/Fibre uplink, graphics and LED / static perimeter boards camera tests</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\"> Checking of video and audio circuit establishment with the BTC and troubleshooting where required</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\"> Overseeing the delivery of all Host Broadcaster and Visiting Rights Holding Broadcaster activities including but not limited to:</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">        MD-1 training, press conferences, dressing room filming, team bus arrivals, head coach interviews, unilateral stand-ups, post-match flash interviews and any other filming requests approved by AFG / AFC</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\"> Solving any on-venue broadcast matters or escalating issues to the AFG Regional Lead as necessary</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\"> Following AFG / AFC production guidelines and operation manuals to ensure all broadcast activities meet the required quality / standards</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\"> Updating match related documentation as required including pre and post-event reporting</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\"> Manage the Assistant Broadcast Manager (where an ABM is present) by providing clear instructions and tasks as required </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\"> Minimum 3 years of broadcast operations management experience, ideally within football in Asia</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\"> Strong understanding of broadcast operations delivery in single venue and tournament contexts</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\"> Experience delivering the live broadcast of the following will be considered:</span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\"> Football matches or other venue-based sports such as basketball, volleyball, badminton etc.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
