          "text": "<p>Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager, the Warehouse Driver is responsible for safely driving and operating trailer trucks to transport Farm Boy goods and materials over inner-city and inter-city routes in a timely manner. The performance of the duties must ensure a quality service approach to all employees, customers and suppliers. All responsibilities must be performed in a manner consistent with the Farm Boy Way.</p><p><strong>Major Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Ensures delivery and pick up of product from the warehouse, between Farm Boy stores and vendors.</li><li>Maintains full responsibility for the safe loading and unloading goods from trucks, between suppliers, the warehouse and stores.&#xa0;&#xa0;</li><li>Ensure the safety and security of cargo at all times.</li><li>Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection of the trucks including all vehicle systems and equipment such as tires, lights, brakes and cold storage.</li><li>Record cargo information, distance traveled fuel consumption and other related information in the log book.</li><li>Maintain valid licenses and driving record.</li><li>Required to assist in warehouse duties as needed.</li><li>May be requested to undertake other related duties on a periodic basis.</li></ul>",

          "text": "<ul><li>Typically requires completion of post-secondary diploma plus a minimum of 2 years of experience driving 5/10 tonne truck.</li><li>Familiar with Ottawa and surrounding area and the ability to effectively plan route delivery.</li><li>Knowledge of loading, unloading and weight restrictions are essential.</li><li>Ability to exercise patience during the driving and delivery process.</li><li>Valid Driver’s Licenses DZ (Class 1 or A), Air Brake (Z) along with a clean driving record check.</li><li>Excellent time management and ability to work with minimum supervision.</li><li>Ability to climb ladder and use general maintenance tools and equipment.</li><li>Knowledge of health and safety regulations and possession of proper safety footwear.</li><li>Flexible as to hours and days of work with the ability to travel.</li><li>Certification in CPR/First Aid would be an asset.</li></ul><p><strong>Work &amp; Sensory Environment:</strong></p><ul><li>Possible exposure to dangerous or unpleasant environmental elements such as dirt or dust, extreme temperatures and adverse weather conditions for driving and/or for outdoor work.</li><li>Will be required to lift, carry and/or handle heavy objects.</li><li>Capable of climbing, reaching, lifting, twisting, turning, bending, for prolonged periods up to 8 hours.</li><li>Capable of lifting average weights of 45 lbs., up to a maximum of 80 lbs.</li><li>Capable of moving 120 pieces per hour, 5 days per week.</li><li>Capable of working in cool, damp conditions for long periods of time.</li></ul>",
