font-size: 14.0pt\">Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif\"><span>1.      </span></span><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif\">Assist linemen, as instructed, in the preparation, construction, replacement, and maintenance of electric distribution lines, structures, and equipment.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif\"><span>2.      </span></span><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif\">Perform manual labor-type tasks such as assisting in digging and tamping pole holes, cleaning vehicles, and loading materials.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif\"><span>3.      </span></span><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif\">Anticipate linemen’s needs and supply them with proper tools, equipment, and materials.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif\"><span>4.      </span></span><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif\">Ensure all tools, equipment, and unused materials are returned and replaced on the line truck after the completion of a job or the day’s work.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif\"><span>5.      </span></span><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif\">Responsible for compliance with the Cooperative's safety rules, policies, and procedures.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-size: 12.0pt\"><span>6.      </span></span><span style=\"color: black; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-size: 12.0pt\">Demonstrate regular and prompt attendance.</span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif\"><span>7.      </span></span><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif\">In addition to these responsibilities, may be assigned by the District Operations Supervisor or Foreman to perform other duties from time to time.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-size: 11.0pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif\"><span>1.          </span></span><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif\">Must possess a valid Texas driver's license with good driving record.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif\"><span>2.          </span></span><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif\">Must be able to communicate in English, both in written and oral forms with the general public and co-workers.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif\"><span>3.          </span></span><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif\">Must be able to lift/move 50 pounds or more, as necessary without external assistance of personnel or mechanical aids.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif\"><span>4.          </span></span><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif\">Must be able to perform manual digging with a pick and shovel.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif\"><span>5.          </span></span><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif\">Must be able to walk distances up to one mile in uneven terrain.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif\"><span>6.          </span></span><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif\">Must have sight to be able to see working conditions from a safety standpoint.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; The majority of the work schedule will be performed traveling to and working at various field locations within the service territory each day. This position will work less than 30 hours per week with flexible hours, between 6:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.</span><br></p>",
