You will collaborate closely with our two EP physicians, providing both inpatient and outpatient care.&nbsp;</span></p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6pt;\"><span>This position offers a unique opportunity to work with patients with a variety of implanted devices, including Watchman, Pacemakers, and ICDs (implantable cardioverter-defibrillators), providing care post-operation in the hospital and clinic settings.&nbsp;</span></p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6pt;\"><span>We are looking for a dedicated candidate to provide our patients with high-quality care in a team-centered environment. The Advanced Practice Provider will be supported by our group of cardiology providers as we continue to grow through new service lines and state-of-the-art procedures.</span></p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span><strong>Your clinical support includes the follow:</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span>Schedule: 4:10’s (four ten-hour days a week)</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span>Strong EP-dedicated support staff &nbsp;</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span>Generous stipend for weekend and holiday rounding</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span>Comprehensive collaboration with supervising physician to provide inpatient and outpatient care in a clinic setting to facilitate the smooth administration of an independent electrophysiology service line.</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span>Complete evaluation, differential diagnosis, treatment plans and medication management.&nbsp;</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span>Management of the inpatient service, including help with pre-procedural H&amp;P, new consults, progress notes, daily rounding with each physician, and postoperative exams/discharges, as well as providing patient education about cardiac conditions.</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span>Daily participation in clinic and help with physician EMR inbox responsibilities.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span>Participate in continuous quality improvement activities and educational experiences in support of departmental philosophy and objectives, as well as Health System initiatives.</span></p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p></li></ul><p style=\"margin-bottom: 6pt;\"><span><strong>Qualifications:</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><p style=\"line-height: 115%; margin-bottom: 6pt;\"><span>Master’s degree from accredited PA program or completion of a master’s level advanced practice nurse program.&nbsp;</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Active APRN or PA license in State of IL and active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.</span></p></li></ul><p style=\"background-color: white; margin-bottom: 9pt;\"><br><span style=\"color: black;\"><strong>Benefits</strong></span></p><p style=\"background-color: white;\"><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 51, 51);\">UW Health offers a highly competitive salary guarantee and other incentives.
