This position works under the general supervision of the Center Manager and is responsible for providing excellent front-office support in a medical setting.</p><p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Provide exceptional customer service through friendly and professional interactions with patients</li><li>Manage computerized appointment scheduling both via telephone and in person</li><li>Accurately enter over-the-counter charges and payments</li><li>Handle patient registration and certification of demographics</li><li>Verify patient information at each scheduled appointment</li><li>Set up and maintain medical records</li><li>Assist in retrieving and filing medical records as needed</li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Required Qualifications</u></strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>High school diploma or GED required</li><li>Two years of CPT and ICD-10 coding and data entry experience, <strong>preferred but not required</strong></li><li>One year of coding and data entry experience in a healthcare organization, <strong>preferred but not required</strong></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left: 0in;\"><strong><u>Compensation &amp; Benefits</u></strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li><strong>Salary:</strong> $16.77 per hour</li><li><strong>Job Family:</strong> Medical Clinical Associate 1 (MR3)</li><li><strong>Benefits</strong>: <a href=\"https://www.etsu.edu/human-resources/benefits/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><strong><u>https://www.etsu.edu/human-resources/benefits/</u></strong></a>.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left: 0in;\"><strong><u>Application Instructions</u></strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>This non-exempt position will be posted for a minimum of five (5) calendar days.
