Overview This Sr. Lead Technical Product Owner (TPO) works within Customer Technology Solutions (CTS) of the Digital Transformation and Technology (DTT) department. The Sr. Lead TPO is a member of the Agile team accountable and responsible for all 3rd Party Integrations (3PI) Delivery Experiences & Services (DES). This team is dedicated to integrating with national delivery partners as well as delivery “ghost” kitchens to support Chick-fil-A’s rapid growth of on demand delivery.  These complex experiences require the product owner to build and maintain relationships to accomplish these objectives; partnerships include national 3rd Party Delivery (3PD) technology providers as well as Chick-fil-A business stakeholders such as Marketing's Delivery and Service & Hospitality teams, Financial Services Restaurant Cash Management and Tax teams, and DTT's Staff Technology Solutions. The role is responsible for ensuring 3PD operational health and quality for Operators, Team Members, Customers, and Drivers. As such, the position also serves as the Sr. Lead TPO for the Delivery Operational Excellence team responsible for all aspects of production support and admin portal. The role collaborates with stakeholders to understand the current 3PD pain points encountered by all types of users, then iterates on delivery solutions to meet their needs. The Sr. Lead TPO translates requests from the business into technical specifications for the engineering team to develop a strong vision and actionable product roadmap. The position works with the development team to evaluate potential product features, against time and complexity, to prioritize solutions for development in alignment with the value provided to end users. Job Specific Functions: Serves as the final authority representing the customer’s interests in sprint backlog prioritization and requirements discussions, setting all priorities for the team in alignment with the business stakeholder roadmap(s). Responsible for managing more than one product backlog. Responsible for making strategic decisions regarding backlog refinement across multiple other team products and backlogs. Represents the team and their efforts to others within the organization.  Develops and maintains strong and productive relationships with all DTT and business stakeholders. Responsibilities Ensures cross-team and release requirements and dependencies are shared appropriately. Works to maximize the business value delivered by the team in each development sprint. Ensures that the product delivers and maintains a high degree of uptime, security, and quality.  Ensures that user stories, themes, and epics are written, refined, and clearly define a universal definition of done.  Facilitates and oversees the immediate needs of the development team as they arise by being fully available to the team.  Facilitates estimation sessions, backlog refinement efforts, and sprint reviews.  Coordinates user acceptance testing and all necessary external validation efforts.  Accepts stories after they are deemed complete by the development team.  Attends all team retrospectives and assists with driving continuous improvement across the team. Manages all budget requirements of the Agile team. Mentors other Product Owners and is seen as an expert and leader in the discipline of Product Ownership Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities) Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO). Knowledge and/or experience with other Agile development approaches and techniques. Experience in driving teams and management to decisions. Experience with technical systems, data structures and languages.  Excellent personal and relational intelligence. Demonstration of leadership and strong collaboration at all levels.
