About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sales Excellence Intern to support our commercial team by improving the quality, accuracy, and usability of data within our CRM (Salesforce) system. This role plays a critical part in enabling better customer engagement, sales effectiveness, and data-driven decision-making. You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service teams to ensure our customer data is clean, structured, and actionable. Responsibilities Audit and clean CRM data, including contacts, accounts, and email records Identify and remove duplicate or outdated entries Standardize data fields (naming conventions, formatting, required fields) Validate and enrich contact and account data using internal and external sources Support segmentation efforts to improve targeting and campaign effectiveness Assist in building dashboards and reports to track data quality and sales activity Partner with Sales and Customer Service teams to improve CRM usage and data entry practices Document best practices and recommend process improvements for ongoing data governance Qualifications Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field Knowledge, skills and abilities: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable working with data sets and spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) Interest in sales operations, CRM systems, or business analytics Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams Familiarity with CRM platforms is a plus What You’ll Gain Hands-on experience with CRM systems and sales operations Exposure to cross-functional business processes in a B2B environment Opportunity to impact real business decisions through data quality improvements Mentorship from commercial and analytics leaders A strong foundation in data governance and sales excellence practices Success in This Role Looks Like Improved CRM data accuracy and completeness Reduced duplicate records and increased usability of customer data Clear, documented processes for maintaining high-quality data Actionable insights that support sales team performance It is the policy of Knauf Insulation to provide equal employment opportunities to all qualified persons without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, protected veteran status or any other protected characteristic prohibited by applicable law.
