All duties are completed in accordance with established Environmental Services and Infection Prevention & Control procedures to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary healthcare environment for patients, visitors, and staff.</p>\n<p><strong>Schedule</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>8:00 AM – 8:00 PM</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Alternating schedule consisting of <strong>three 11.5-hour shifts per week</strong> (approximately 40.5 hours weekly)</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>2:00 PM – 8:00 PM</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>One 6-hour shift scheduled per pay period</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Weekend Rotation</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Includes <strong>one 12-hour shift</strong> on either Saturday or Sunday per pay period</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Employment Type</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Full-Time</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education:</strong>High school diploma or equivalent preferred.</p>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Ability to lift objects and climb ladders as needed</p></li>\n <li><p>Capable of performing tasks requiring moderate physical effort</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Demonstrate understanding of soil types (soluble vs. insoluble) and proper cleaning methods to ensure effective sanitation.</p></li>\n <li><p>Maintain cleaning carts and EVS storage areas in a clean, organized, and fully stocked condition per department standards.</p></li>\n <li><p>Safely prepare and use cleaning chemicals, including proper dilution rates and compliance with safety guidelines.</p></li>\n <li><p>Perform routine floor care, including dust mopping, wet/microfiber mopping, and carpet vacuuming.</p></li>\n <li><p>Handle and dispose of all waste streams, including regulated medical waste, in accordance with hospital protocols.</p></li>\n <li><p>Clean and disinfect medical equipment, including IV (Sigma Smart) pumps.</p></li>\n <li><p>Complete daily cleaning of patient rooms, ensuring a sanitary and safe environment.</p></li>\n <li><p>Follow AIDET and customer service protocols to enhance patient experience and satisfaction scores.</p></li>\n <li><p>Perform discharge and transfer cleaning for inpatient and outpatient areas.</p></li>\n <li><p>Adhere to isolation cleaning procedures, utilizing appropriate PPE and infection control practices.</p></li>\n <li><p>Clean offices, conference rooms, laboratories, restrooms, locker rooms, and public areas.</p></li>\n <li><p>Perform specialized cleaning in procedural areas, including between-case and terminal cleaning.</p></li>\n <li><p>Maintain cleanliness in pharmacy IV rooms following strict sterile protocols.</p></li>\n <li><p>Identify and report facility maintenance issues and submit work orders as needed.</p></li>\n <li><p>Maintain and properly use all EVS equipment, including vacuums and cleaning carts.</p></li>\n <li><p>Perform basic maintenance of hard and soft flooring.</p></li>\n <li><p>Follow all safety procedures and report hazards, incidents, or injuries promptly.</p></li>\n <li><p>Complete all assigned duties efficiently within designated timeframes.</p></li>\n <li><p>Participate in required trainings, meetings, and ongoing compliance education.</p></li>\n <li><p>Stay current with departmental policies, procedures, and communications.</p></li>\n <li><p>Perform additional duties as assigned.</p></li>\n</ul>",
