Reporting to the Head of Department and based out of our </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Birmingham office</span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">, this is a great opportunity for someone with previous experience in surveying, to be involved in a wide variety including high-profile projects within the expeditious Geospatial industry.</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Specification</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The key accountabilities and associated duties include:</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead and successfully deliver survey works on small to medium-sized or moderately complex projects.</li>\n<li>Undertaking various types of surveys sessions using a variety of specialised and exciting equipment and technology such as total stations, GNSS, scanners and data collectors.</li>\n<li>Support Senior Surveyors in larger or more complex projects.</li>\n<li>Record surveying information accurately and consistently on site to the agreed specification and scope</li>\n<li>Process data from the field into the office, registering data, post processing with software, such as AutoCAD</li>\n<li>Assist with detailed field and office surveying assignments.</li>\n<li>Ensure that all survey kit is maintained and well kept.</li>\n<li>Deliver to company policies, procedures, standards and best practices.</li>\n<li>Any other duties as required by the business</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Role Requirements</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of 3 year’s site survey experience using topographical instruments</li>\n<li>Very good level of English (written, written, speaking)</li>\n<li>Physically capable to carry out the role</li>\n<li>Full clean UK manual driving licence</li>\n<li>Relevant Qualifications and/or relevant experience (Relevant CSCS card essential)</li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of the UK construction industry</li>\n<li>Experience of working to high safety standards.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Outlook, and Excel.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of role related post-processing software.</li>\n<li>Strong technical knowledge.</li>\n<li>Flexibility to travel nationwide as required by our clients.</li>\n<li>The right to work in the UK</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Attributes</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to work on your own initiative as well as working within an existing team</li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal</li>\n<li>An ambition to learn and develop</li>\n<li>A flexible, positive attitude towards work and be a team player</li>\n<li>Strong organisational and time management skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benefits You Will Love</span></span></p>\n<p><span><br></span></p>\n<p><span>At Murphy Geospatial – A Woolpert Company, you’ll join a collaborative and innovative team where your expertise makes a real impact.
