Manage the efficient and timely serving of food and drinks, and ensuring all items are delivered to the correct seat number.&nbsp;</p><p>Food Runners must stay stationed at the kitchen expo window when not running food or drinks to guests, or while attending to curbside guests. If you need to leave the kitchen for any reason you must find someone to cover your station.</p><p>Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</p><p>&bull;Inform guests of beverages and menu dishes.</p><p>&bull;Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services.</p><p>&bull;Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely matter.</p><p>&bull;Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment.</p><p>&bull;Maintain clean service areas.</p><p>&bull;Monitor and observe guests dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.</p><p>&bull;Be ready and willing to assist servers as situations arise.</p><p>&bull;Be ready and willing to assist the busser with clearing and resetting tables.</p><p>&bull;Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.</p><p>&bull;Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement.</p><p>&bull;Performs other related duties as assigned by the manager-on-duty or chef on duty.</p><p><br></p><p>Job Requirements:</p><p>&bull; Be able to communicate clearly and effectively.</p><p>&bull; Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.</p><p>&bull; Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.</p><p>&bull; Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20 to 25 pounds.</p><p>&bull; Must possess a valid TABC Certificate and Texas Food Handlers Certificate.</p><p><br></p><p>The statements contained herein reflect general details as necessary to describe the principle functions of this position, the level of knowledge and skill typically required, and the general scope of responsibility, but should not be considered an all-inclusive listing of work requirements.
