    "description": "<p>Do you have a passion for electronic engineering and an interest in underwater technology? If so, Blueprint Subsea has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electronic Engineer to join our design team based in Haverthwaite, near the southern end of Lake Windermere, Cumbria.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As an Electronic Engineer at Blueprint Subsea, you will work as part of our design team bringing your experience in electronics and embedded systems to help develop innovative and cutting-edge acoustic communications sensors, sonars, and integrated diver navigation systems. You will evolve existing designs and develop new designs from initial concept, through electronics design, prototyping and commissioning.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborating with other members of the design team to develop electronic circuitry and embedded systems,</li>\n<li>Designing and testing electrical schematics and circuit boards, constructing prototypes, and diagnosing problems with new and existing designs,</li>\n<li>Working with and developing embedded systems</li>\n<li>Assisting in developing technical content for use by other departments, suppliers, and customers,</li>\n<li>Occasionally participating in customer support, training, and demonstrations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential qualifications and skills:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relevant qualification and previous experience in the electronics engineering sector</li>\n<li>Theoretical knowledge of or experience with analogue circuitry/amplifiers, signal conditioning, analogue-to-digital conversion, digital logic, and power supplies</li>\n<li>Proficiency in developing electronic schematics and printed circuit board designs with industry-standard CAD software (e.g. Altium Designer)</li>\n<li>Experience with embedded microprocessors (such as PIC, AVR or ARM devices) and developing firmware for them in C or C++</li>\n<li>Creative and analytical mindset with good attention to detail and problem solving skills</li>\n<li>Good communication and time-management skills, and the ability to work well within a team</li>\n<li>Competence in the use of standard office software, such as the Microsoft 365/Office suite<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Desirable skills include:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Understanding of various communication protocols (such as RS232/485, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, and USB),</li>\n<li>Knowledge of high-speed digital design principles and devices (such as FPGA’s, memories, and clock buffers),</li>\n<li>Experience in designing for reduced electromagnetic interference and compliance requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benefits Include:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive salary based on experience</li>\n<li>33 days annual holiday allowance (inc.
