This role location in Boston, MA ( 4 days in office expectation per week).</span></p><p><span><strong>In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span>Direct a Fund Accounting area consisting of multiple teams responsible for accounting services including determining net asset values, calculating fund performance, allocating expenses, and preparing reports.</span></li><li><span>Manage financial and human resources for the unit, ensuring teams operate effectively to meet goals and objectives.</span></li><li><span>Execute business plans, contribute to functional strategy development, and set guidelines for determining net asset value (NAV) across various sectors.</span></li><li><span>Oversee client relationship management, ensuring service levels meet client needs, resolving issues, and participating in sales efforts including RFP and RFI preparation.</span></li><li><span>Provide oversight and guidance on financial statement disclosures, resolve complex escalated issues, and lead analysis of GAAP and IFRS rules to ensure regulatory compliance.</span></li><li><span>Develop policies and set priorities for drafting financial reports, communicate complex accounting details to clients, and manage relationships with senior auditors and clients.</span></li><li><span>Recruit, direct, motivate, and develop staff to maximize individual and team performance.</span></li><li><span>Manage multiple Fund/Client Accounting teams primarily through subordinate managers and contribute to achieving team objectives.</span><br><br>&nbsp;</li></ul><p><span><strong>To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span>Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.</span></li><li><span>7-10 years of total work experience with at least 3-5 years in management preferred.</span></li><li><span>Experience at a Big 4 accounting firm preferred.</span></li></ul><p><span>At BNY, our culture speaks for itself, check out the latest BNY news at:</span></p><p><span>BNY Newsroom</span><br><span>BNY LinkedIn</span></p><p><span>Here’s a few of our recent awards:</span></p><p><span>America’s Most Innovative Companies, Fortune, 2025</span><br><span>World’s Most Admired Companies, Fortune 2025</span><br><span>“Most Just Companies”, Just Capital and CNBC, 2025</span></p><p><span>Our Benefits and Rewards:</span></p><p><span>BNY offers highly competitive compensation, benefits, and wellbeing programs rooted in a strong culture of excellence and our pay-for-performance philosophy. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $130,000 and $250,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
